This weekend was more wedding-filled than most others...I have a feeling that might be happening more and more the closer that we get to wedding day!
Friday morning I had a delay from work, so I slept in a bit, lazed around some and got ready to go to work. I got into my car, and it wouldn't start. It's been so cold around here that the cold totally killed my battery (I later found that out--since when I turned it on, all of the warning lights were on and my engine wouldn't turn over). So, I had to call in to work and tell them I couldn't get in.
My mom had to then come by and get me for my dress fitting (since I wasn't going to miss that--no way!), and she brought my friend/bridesmaid Crystal. I was SO excited to try on my dress, and when I did, it fit soooo well. No clamps needed this time!
I was a little nervous about it because I had ordered a different bottom of my dress (it was originally a-line and I ordered the bottom of another dress that was fit and flare--did you know that you could do that??)
Well, it was EXACTLY what I had pictured and wanted. There are only slight alterations needed, too....even the length was perfect! I'll give you a sneak peak of the bottom of the dress (this is bustled):
After the high of being in my wedding dress, my mom dropped me back off at home and jumped my car (which is when I knew for sure it was the battery that had died). MG came home after that and took me to get a new battery for my car. And, being the manly man that he is, he took out the old one and installed the new one for me. With his bare hands. In the freezing cold. Love that guy :)
We went out for a little date night to our favorite pizza joint by our place and then came back home and lazed around. Perfect end to a stressful/fun day!
Saturday MG was up early to go skiing with a friend, and my friend Bree and I went to do my hair trial. Bree was squealing with excitement before I even saw what my hair looked like, so I was super anxious to see it. It turned out SO good! I'm soooo in love with it, and I can't wait until the big day! I was able to see what the hair would look like with my wedding earrings and my veil in. LOVE. I'll give you a teeny sneaky peek at that, too...
I was SO glad that Bree was with me--it made it much more fun to have a friend there, and it was really fun to see her reaction to everything which made me that much more excited :)
After everything we went to lunch and chatted some more about work, life, boys, etc. You know, a good girls lunch!
Even more fun was what my hair looked like after I took out the 27 bobby pins that were in my hair later that night:
It looked AWESOME! I wish I could make my hair look like this on my own...d'oh!
At least I know my morning-after-wedding hair will look good! haha
Saturday night MG got home, and while we were making plans to grab something to eat, Cooper had a small seizure. It hasn't happened in almost 2 years, so I was really upset that it had happened again. I hope it's just a fluke. Luckily he recovered from it pretty quickly and was back to walking around and wiggling his little tail with happy excitement within a little bit. Phew! Fingers crossed...
We spent the rest of the night cuddled on the couch with our little guy, loving up on him, watching a Harry Potter marathon on ABC Family.

Sunday was just a day of errands for us. Groceries, cleaning, returning some things, buying part of the groomsmen gifts, etc. I finally got a chance to use the new infuser pitcher that I got from my mom at my shower last weekend to make raspberry infused water! So yummy! I'm gonna make cucumber water this week, too. Product review coming at you soon!
That's about it for my weekend. Hope yours was fun and didn't involve a stupid car battery dying! :)
