Friday Faves

Happy Friday, pretties!!! Hopefully your week was quick and easy and you're ready to roll right into the weekend.
{via}
 But, first, let's talk about some faves with some of my faves!

{1} Link Up Success!
Jessi's and my link up on Wednesday was way more successful than either of us could have imagined! I loved seeing what everyone was up to, and getting inspired by! Can't wait to see more next Wednesday (and every Wednesday)!!

{2} On Demand
I love finding new shows to watch On Demand, or getting caught up on shows that I didn't realize had started (like Chrisley Knows Best). Definitely a good occupier of my time when it's too hot outside to do anything but stay inside and enjoy the air conditioning (plus it's prime cuddle time with Cooper ;)
It drives me a little nutty when the show I'm looking for isn't On Demand, though (I still don't get why Bravo picks and chooses which shows are/aren't on there--anyone know why that is?)

{3} Baby Selfies and Giggles
Whenever I get to FaceTime with this little guy, or I get sent selfies of his adorable face from my bloggy bestie Shay, it always makes my day. And being able to make him giggle that amazing baby laugh over FaceTime makes my heart burst! (I could seriously listen to baby giggles all day long :)

{4} New Workout Clothes
I went to Target earlier this week for a few things (and only bought the things on my list, I might add--just call me a walking miracle!), one of which was a few new workout clothing items. I also realized that I have a slight obsession gravitation towards workout clothes in these colors (light purple/pink and gray). Oh well! I'm a fan and that's all that matters. Plus, when you feel cute working out, you work out just a little bit better!
{In store prices: pink/purple top was $16, capri pants were $35, gray top $11; get them online here and here}

Speaking of Target...the definition of perfection:

Five Friday Faves

Happy Friday and happy last day of summer school to me!! Woohoo, I survived and without any major scars! :) And also, how is it even possible that today is the last day of July?? Where is time going??? I just hope the next month goes super slowly so I can soak it all up!
{1} Favorite new item
So, I stalked the Nordstrom site earlier this week, waiting for the multi-colored Kate Spade earrings to come back in stock (yes, I know, my life is tough...*sarcasm*) and they finally did, so I snatched them up! Within an hour they were sold out again.
Now I get to decide between these two pretties...or somehow convince myself that I need both (but, I don't....)

{2} Favorite Workout
I bought the Cize exercise program and when it arrived on Tuesday I immediately went to try it out. Cut to a few days in and I am hooked. I end each workout totally sweaty and red-faced (mega sexy), and feeling super accomplished, with sore leg, shoulder and butt muscles. Not to mention I'm getting some fun dance moves, too!
I'm really excited about finishing the rest of the program!

{3} Favorite Get Togethers
This week was apparently the week of babies for me because I got to meet up with two of my friends who recently both had baby boys. I got to see my friends and meet their adorable little guys. I'm in awe of my friends and how easily they transitioned into motherhood--its so fun to see them in this new role...and the best part was the adorable little peanuts I got to hold and love on! :)

{4} Favorite Quotes--these all resonated with me so deeply this week.

Five Friday Faves

TGIF, people!! I'm so happy it's the end of the week, but I'm stuck for the entire day at a training. Womp womp. At least when it's over, I have the weekend ahead of me, right?
Let's focus on some favorites this week!
{1}-Piyo
A couple weeks ago I mentioned that I'd ordered Piyo and was just waiting for its arrival. It came last week and I did the intro workout to try and figure out what the heck I was doing and this past week I've done 3 of the workouts and I'm LOVING it. I know I mentioned it yesterday, but it was worth repeating. It's hard but it feels so good! I even got MG to do the intro workout and he seems to like it as well.

{2} Babies Going Through Tunnels Video
You have to go and watch the video of babies going through tunnels. It cracked me up!
These Babies Are Completely, Understandably Blown Away By Tunnels

{3}-House Project
Are you tired of hearing about doors? Yes? Because I'm tired of painting them!
Thankfully, MG and I finished all the hallway and closet doors, AND we painted the upstairs hallway. What a difference it makes! And with the new hardware it looks even better:

I promise, this will be the last time I post about doors for a very very long time!

{4} Friends
{via}
Knowing that I have some of the best friends in my life to lean on and support me when I need it, is one of my favorites today, and every day. Without the girls I have in my life, I'd be lost. I'm so thankful to have the ladies that I do, in the good times, and the tough times.

{5} These quotes
 The first one I saw Meghan had pinned a couple days ago, and the other one I saw myself. Both resonated with me:

Something to think about before you complain:

I'm off to be tortured by hours and hours of talk about one component of my county's speech evaluations. Borrrrrrrrrringggggg!
Hope you guys make it through Friday and have an excellent weekend!
Here's a funny to start you off right:
