WILW and Oh How Pinteresting

It's Wednesday, which means that it's time for...

assuming these link ups are actually up this week...

I'm loving that we're already at the half-way point for the week. Means we're closer to the weekend, but it also means I'm that much closer to needing to have a therapy schedule draft done for work. So, maybe I'm not loving that it's Wednesday after all lol

I'm loving our new tv stand in our living room. Our old one was MG's and it was metal and glass, BULKY and didn't really match the rest of our furniture. This new one is sleek, fits with the rest of our stuff, and opens up the room SO much. Love!

I'm loving looking at our wedding registry online. I'm kind of nervous for people to see it, too. We have some big ticket items on there, and I don't want people to be overwhelmed or feel pressure to HAVE to buy that stuff for us. But, it's really fun to picture getting these things over the course of the next 6-7 months!

I'm loving seeing all of my kiddos from last year. A lot of them run up and give me a hug, or purposely come out to my office (I'm not in the main building) just to say hi. One of the many things that I love about my job.

I'm loving that someone had the cajones to say to my "frenemy bride" that her email to me wasn't nice. Finally, someone said something! (Not that it's made any bit of difference in how "frenemy bride" has treated me, but it's nice to know someone saw our side of the situation).

I'm loving Post-it notes. If I had to pick one desk supply item, those would totally be it. I write so many notes to myself and other people on Post-its, I'd be lost without them. #dorkpartyofone

WILW: Anniversary Edition

It's Wednesday, and not only is it my first week back at work, but today is also MG's and my 2 year anniversary! So, today's WILW post is going to be mostly about that!

I'm loving MG. Two years ago today, we finally met for our first date (the first attempt was thwarted by an earthquake in DC, and the second attempt happened after a hurricane had come through--we like to say that even natural elements couldn't keep us from meeting :). I can't believe it's been two years already. It seems like it was just yesterday, and also that we've been together forever.

I think that's the sign of a great relationship. It feels like just yesterday, because we have so much fun together, and everything we do together is just that much better. It seems like it's been so much longer than 2 years because I feel like I've known him forever. He gets me and I get him, and we just work so well that it makes so much sense. I can't imagine my life without him.
The day we went on our first date, I certainly didn't know then that I would be going on my last first date, and that 2 years later, I'd be engaged to the guy of my dreams, and planning our wedding. I waited a while, and went through several frogs (some that were really slimy), but it was all worth it because I found my guy :)

I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have someone so caring, thoughtful, kind, funny, intelligent, easy-going, handsome and loving.

I wouldn't want to go through the rest of my life with anyone else.

Now, on to some not-so-sappy stuff.... :)

I'm loving that I've decided on my bridesmaid dresses. It was tough, but my soon-to-be sisters in law found the color I was looking for with a brand of dresses that have lots of options for my girls. I'm SO relieved and excited!

I'm loving that this work week has been productive but somewhat low-stress. Any school year start is stressful, but it's been a good mix and I haven't felt like I was drowning yet. Key word here might be "yet" haha

I'm loving that I got to have lunch with my girl (and bridesmaid) Trish yesterday. She's been working near my school site for a bit now, but yesterday we finally made it happen. Nothing beats girl time and mexican! :)

I'm loving the gift that I got for MG for our anniversary. It's funny, but practical, and I can't wait to see his face when he opens it.

I'm loving that this weekend is a LONG weekend!

I'm off to make it through an in-service training (that I'm running--eek!) and then some anniversary celebrating! :)

It's Wednesday, which means many things, but the main thing is, that it's time to link up with these ladies:

I'm loving that yesterday I got measured for and ordered my wedding dress! Now I just have to wait ~~anxiously~~ patiently for my dress to get here (come on, January!)

I'm loving that I was able to catch up with some great friends this weekend. Weekends are quickly filling up with friends' weddings, bachelorette parties, bridal showers and other activities so it was nice to have some time to hang out with some good people before the crazy busy weekends start.

I'm loving that I have a supervisor who goes out of her way to help me. She looks out for me, and I admire the heck out of her. Dunno what I would do without her.

I'm loving checking things off of my wedding to-do list!

I'm loving my recent purchases from Loft! Gotta get ready for Back to School!

It's Wednesday, and you know what that means....

(warning: this one is a little wedding focused)....

I'm loving that I found my wedding dress!!!!!!

I'm loving that I still have another week and a half left before I have to go back to work. I'm also hating that I ONLY have a week and a half left before I have to go back to work.

I'm loving that we have less than 8 months til our wedding date!

I'm loving that MG and I made reservations for our honeymoon last night! It's looking like we'll be romancing in Antigua! ;)

I'm loving that I'm getting a massage this morning. I've got knots that need to get a butt kicking!

I'm loving that we're meeting with a DJ this weekend who could potentially be "THE" DJ for our wedding. Wooohoo!

I'm loving that I've already figured out, ordered and received our wedding favors.

Check, check, check! (that's me checking things off of that never-ending checklist that theknot.com has me stressing over on a weekly basis....lol)

And, as always, I'm loving Pinterest!

I'm loving that I think I found my wedding dress (I promise I'll stop talking about it soon). It's SO pretty. When I put it on and saw myself in it, it made me feel the way that I wanted to feel in a wedding dress.

I'm loving these girls:

They made dress shopping fun, and entertaining as all get out. I love that all of them got along and had a good time, too!

I'm loving that this Friday, MG and I are heading to PA for a family reunion, and then up to the lake with the rest of his family. So, if I drop off from blog land, you'll know why.

I'm loving the weather so far this week. I've been able to go to the pool two days in a row and not feel like I was going to melt through the pool chairs. Mid 80's and less than 50% humidity is my kind of weather. Being able to read my Kindle while enjoying it, is that much better!

I'm loving pad thai. I had been having a craving for it, and we had it on Monday night for dinner. SO good. Love it as leftovers, too. YUM!

I'm loving that after today, I have ONE more work day for this summer! That's it!!

It's hump day and you know what that means....

I'm loving that my bestie is coming into town this Friday!!!!

I'm loving that this Saturday I'm going to try on wedding dresses with my mom and my 3 friends/bridesmaids (MG's sisters and mom couldn't make it down, unfortunately.) I feel like this will finally make it feel totally "real"!!!

I'm loving that MG is supportive--we've been dealing with more nonsense from his 'friends' about the wedding recently and I'm glad that he's realistic about the situation, and that we're on the same page.

I'm loving caring less. That might sound strange, but I'm learning how to let go of things and people that aren't worth my time, and it feels good!

I'm loving this shirt, (and would love to have it) so I could wear it around certain people:

I'm loving that it's not so crazy hot this week--it's still hot, yes, but I'm not having to drive around with my AC cranked all the way up and the temp down to 65 anymore. THAT is an improvement.

I'm loving that I only have 7 more days of summer school after today. And only one more "session" with the kid who grabbed my arm, slapped me on the face and pulled my hair on Monday. (Whoever said teachers get paid enough, is sorely mistaken)

And, as always, I'm loving Pinterest. This week I've been pinning...

WILW and Oh How Pinteresting

Ready for our normal Hump Day link ups?

I'm loving that one of my good friend's bridal shower is this weekend. Looking forward to celebrating P!nky and her soon-to-be nuptials!

I'm loving that week 2 of summer school is almost over. At the end of this week, we'll be halfway through and then I can REALLY enjoy the last few weeks of my summer vacay!

I'm loving that while MG is away, I get free reign of the remote control and tv program selection. AKA, there is a LOT of Bravo tv being watched! :)

I'm loving air conditioning. It's hotter than a whorehouse on nickel night around here (ya like that one? :), and the air conditioning is cranking. Without it, I'm not sure what I would do. Other than sweat.

I'm loving that I get to see my mom today, and that I'm taking her to go see our church site and venue site for the wedding today after work!

And, as always, I'm loving Pinterest. (Although I'm NOT liking the new design, the lack of "see more pins" button, and how difficult it is to embed pins now)....
