Mid-week Confessions

It's hump day and I'm ready to do some confessin'!

I confess that....

.....seeing giveaways on blogs is exciting, until you realize that you have to follow 100 people's pinterest boards or twitter accounts in order to qualify. No thanks.

.....I hate that I don't have control over the air temperature in my office. Most of the day it's fine now with milder temps outside, but in the afternoon sun, my office heats up like a hot box. Luke warm air out of the air vents does nothing to help that #sweatyprobs

.....after visiting with the new puppy last weekend, I half-convinced myself that I want another dog. Then I realized how much work that would be and slapped myself back to reality.

.....I really want a cute jean jacket and a navy puffy vest for the Fall....but I don't want to pay for them :)

.....I keep seeing a ton of Fall recipes and I'm kinda jazzed to try them. Soups, things with butternut squash or pumpkin in them....I want them all!

.....sometimes it's better to beg forgiveness than ask for permission

....I saw a car pulled over by 2 cops on my drive home from work on Monday, and proudly flying on top of the car was a Cowboys flag. Then 5 minutes later I got stuck behind someone who was an awful driver, and noticed they had a Cowboys license plate holder. Both things made me smirk. #skinsfanforlife

....This makes my heart happy:

.....MG brought me home a cupcake on Monday and it made my day--I have the best husband :)

....Emma Watson impresses the pants off of me (you need to watch)

  1. If I have to do more than add my name to a list, I don't even bother to enter giveaways. I don't need all that spam in my life.

And I 100% agree that asking forgiveness is better than asking for permission. Quite frequently actually.

  3. I will do a twitter follow every now and then for a giveaway but that's because I rarely look at twitter. Training a new pup would be a ton of work

  4. I hate that about giveaways! Most times I just opt out, I don't have time for that nonsense. Also that Emma Watson speech was amazing. I love how she is stepping up and setting an example!

  5. Hate giveaways that require so much. Ugh. Such a bummer! And love that video of Emma Watson - she is a class act. It's nice to see celebrities with brains, that stand up for important causes. Happy Wednesday!

  6. I hate giveaways that make me do a million things. Outside of my email address, I rarely do the other options.

  7. I have given up on giveaways that make me jump through that many hoops. If it takes me 15 minutes to enter, no thanks. You need another pup. I'm telling you Sophie is Chloe's best friend and training number 2 is so much easier when they follow #1 around all the time.

I have such a hankering for pumpkin bread that I may just make some this weekend. Hello fall!

  10. I agree with you on the giveaway thing. I love giveaways but when they list ten bloggers to follow on Pinterest or Twitter just to get one point I get a little irritated. That fall outfit is adorable!

  11. I don't enter giveaways for that exact reason #toomuchwork

  12. My old boss and I always went by that saying about it being easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission (obviously not for super serious stuff). :)
