That Sucks Day

Did you know that today is called "That Sucks Day"? I didn't until I heard it on the radio the other day.
You might be wondering to yourself: "But, Jenn, why does today suck?"
 Well....

It's tax day.
(and as Jimmy Fallon said: "Thank you, tax day, for combining the fun of doing paperwork with the threat of going to jail" lol)

It's the day the Titanic sank.

(and, therefore, also the day that Rose lost her beloved Jack....*sarcasm*)

It's the day that Abraham Lincoln died. Rest in Peace, Mr. Lincoln.

I guess all of those could make for a day of suckiness (yes I just made that word up :)

Since we're on the topic, and today is "That Sucks Day", let's talk about some other "funny" things that suck:

~planning to wear white pants the next day and then waking up to a rain storm
(Obviously this is from personal experience. I still wore the white pants, btw) ;)

~getting back from grocery shopping, only to realize you forgot one item. And of course it's the most vital item out of everything that you just got

~humidity in general. It's the worst. My hair agrees.

~Being sick of working isn't a legit excuse for a sick day.

~Calories. In general. And the fact that all things that taste good, usually have a bunch of them. Why can't the gross tasting stuff have a TON of calories and the yummy stuff have none?

~Being late to get someplace and getting stuck behind the slowest vehicle known to man.

The curse words that inevitably ensue also suck, too.

~In a crowded parking lot, you spot the glorious last space, only to pull up and realize that the jerk next to the space is parked like an a-hole

~Thinking it's Friday when it's any other day but Friday

~That moment you find something that you just HAVE to have on Pinterest. You click the link and see the dreaded "Unavailable" or "This item is sold out" appears. Doh!

~The time you have plans for the night, but end up falling asleep on the couch instead

Ok, maybe that doesn't suck that much. Naps are pretty awesome :)
