You Need This Item!

When I find a product that I love, I always tell you guys about it, so when I found this water bottle, I knew I had to share it with you all!

You might be thinking "what's so great about a water bottle?" And my answer is: everything!

My friend had told me about the Swell water bottle and I was intrigued enough to look into it. I always have issues with my water bottles leaving condensation (even some Tervis-wear will when it's hot enough out) and it drives me nuts, which my friend told me her Swell bottle didn't do.
On my little look into Swell, I found the MIRA bottle on Amazon.
It's $18.95 on Amazon (and is available with Prime, so you can get it in 2 days), which is still a good chunk of change for a water bottle, but much less than the Swell bottles, which are $35+. The MIRA bottle also has 4.5+ stars on Amazon. I read the reviews, and it sounded awesome.

A bottle that stays cold for hours on end, will also keep drinks hot, and it doesn't have any condensation on the outside? I was already sold!

It's also made of stainless steel, so it's BPA free which is important--you don't want to drink those chemicals.

MIRA only comes in red, blue, black, and light grey (which is the one I got, and looks white on the website), unlike Swell that has several designs available. I'm ok with not paying an extra $16 for a design--for that price I could get another MIRA bottle!
Some of the reviews I read also said that this bottle holds up better than Swell does--several had mentioned that the Swell bottles scratched almost immediately.
You can drop this on the floor, and it comes out unscathed (I may have had some personal experience with this when I accidentally knocked it off of my end table in the living room....but no spills, and no scratches were seen--I did have a scared dog skitter out of the room when it fell though...lol). So, it's clumsy-proof and kid-drop-proof! :)

It doesn't spill because it has a vacuum seal at the top. Even if you throw it into your purse/diaper bag, or hold it upside down over the dog that you love oh-s0-much and would never want to harm:
No leaks, no drips!
{Cooper tested, Cooper approved}

It comes in 17 oz and 25 oz--but the 25 oz doesn't fit in your cup holders (I know this is a sore subject for you, Amanda...lol). I got the 17 oz.

One of my biggest problems with drinking water through the day was that I hated room temperature water. It tastes stale, but cold water is so much easier for me to drink.
I can tell you that the water does stay cold for a LONG time. I put ice in my water bottle in the morning around 7am, and added water. 10 hours and a few refills of water later, there were still ice cubes inside my water bottle:
Since getting this water bottle, I've upped my water intake a lot!

It's not too big, so I feel like I can easily hold it, and take it anywhere. It came with us to Chicago last weekend, and I'll be taking it to the beach so Ill have cold water all day long, even on the hot beach!
Basically, I think it's worth the $18.95 price tag. When MG first saw the water bottle he asked how much it was and scoffed a little when I told him. Then, when I did the 10+ hour test with him overnight, and also brought the water bottle in the car with us where it sat in the sun and super hot car and was still cold, he may have said that he wanted one, too.

I got a man-convert, guys. Miracle!!

And just so you know, I am in no way being compensated for this review; I don't know anyone at this company and I used my own money to buy it. I found this water bottle on my own, and am reviewing it on my own because I just think it's that awesome!
Go get you one and get hydrated! :)

  3. My tervis took a tumble down an entire flight of stairs yesterday and then bounced into the wall......it wasn't pretty. Thank goodness no one was in the stairwell because it was the most horrific noise. Long story short, it is a great excuse now to get that water bottle!!! The fact it will fit in my cupholder, well you sold me right there ;-)

  4. Trying this asap!! LOVE my turvis but they aren't exactly the best things to throw into a purse. And I totally agree about water being ice cold!

  5. I got mine and use it a bunch. Love that I can throw it in my purse and not have to worry about leaks. I do wish I got the big size because I'm constantly refilling this little one. I've also managed (in a week) some how scratch off some of the red coating. I'll probably get the big size next time.

  7. This sounds like a great water bottle to have, especially during the summer months! I love my Tervis water bottles but they definitely can't keep a drink cold in this summer heat.

  9. No way!! This is amazing! I drink so much water that this would totally be worth the price tag! Especially once I'm nursing and will be drinking water around the clock (literally) and I love that I can throw it in my bag and not worry about condensation ruining whatever I have in my purse! Score!

  13. Looks cool! I got my dad a Yeti tumbler for Fathers Day and he LOVES it. He says it'll keep ice overnight even in the sun. I need to step up my tumbler/bottle game.

  14. This sounds AWESOME. My only question is - how do you wash it? It is not dishwasher safe, right?

  16. I bought the Mira water bottle after reading about it on your blog. I absolutely love it. I work at a private school and the temps here have been in the 90's. Having the water stay cold for hours has made such a difference. What a great product!
