Friday Faves!

Happy Friday! We made it through another week, and at the end of this one we have Fall!
I've loved seeing everyone's Fall inspiration throughout the week :)
In our area, the Pope graced us with a visit--it messed up some commutes, but I've definitely enjoyed watching him on tv and interacting with "the people". One of our friends is one of the Pope's right hand men while he's in the US so I can't wait to hear the stories!

Let's talk favorites!

{1} Fall TV is back!
{via}
It's all finally back! Nashville, Big Bang Theory, The Good Wife, Greys (although I'm not sold on Greys anymore--last night's episode kinda stunk), and new shows...it's all back and I'm super excited for what these seasons hold!

{2}- Fall Sales
Thanks to Natalie's blog post the other day about a super cute striped tunic, on sale at Old Navy for $14, I was able to snatch one up (to complete that Fall look I've been dying for), along with two other pieces--a cute flannel and a pretty burgundy dress:

I saw this on the first day of Fall and I loved it. The perfect way to look at a new season:

{4} My Husband
Yes he's always a favorite, but this week, he's been extra amazing. MG's been working late a lot of the nights this week for work (as in he came home at 9:30 one night) After a really trying day on Tuesday for me, I came home on Wednesday after work to find that he'd spent his morning before work unloading the dishwasher, cleaning the counters in the kitchen, and building the end table for the basement. And on top of it all? I had a sweet note waiting for me, too. It really is the little things that make my heart swell. He's the best.

{5} Funnies
When your husband tells you that he just saw the "biggest bug he's ever seen" in your living room, goes to kill it...and then can't find it again...
{via}
When you're sitting in a meeting with someone who won't stop talking or asking questions...all of which are pointless and just delaying the end of the meeting
{via}
When the mornings start out in the low 60s and you get to work and the AC is still on

When it's Friday at 4pm

I hope you have an easy Friday and a fantastic weekend!

  11. I need to catch up on Nashville! I missed the last few episodes last season, I'm debating whether I should get back into it or not. I just need to know if Deacon lives! If not, I'm out.

  13. Love Old Navy, obviously! ;) I'm SO excited fall TV is back! Can you believe I've never watched Scandal and/or Nashville?! I've heard I really need to jump on those bandwagons. I gave up Grey's last season and am kind of glad I never looked back. I had the TV on last night as I was getting things done around the house and heard it in the background. I kept thinking, "Womp Womp."

  26. I am just hoping that Grey's gets better and the first episode this season is just a getting back into it thing. Although, I don't think it'll ever be the same without Derek. Sigh!!!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Such funny gifs! I feel like that last one when both kids are napping. I have to say I stopped watching Grey's right before they killed off Derek and without him, I don't know if I can do it! #mcdreamyforever But yay for fall TV!
