What's Hap-"Pinning" Wednesdays {#11}

Hey guys, sorry for my absence yesterday--MG and I were getting back from Philly and then had to make an unexpected trip to the vet since Cooper got a bladder infection and I just didn't have the time to post.

So, as for what's hap-"pinning" lately, I'll fill you in on my weekend in Philly!
Remember, you can link up with us about ANYTHING that's happening--it does not have to only be Pinterest related stuff.

My Philly weekend hap-"pinning's" included:
~a late night hang out at my SIL's once we got to Philly

~lots of talk about Thanksgiving plans--my one SIL and her family are going to be coming down to our house, to have Thanksgiving with my parents, MGs parents and us, for the firs time instead of hosting at their house

~Saturday morning trip to Homegoods with my MIL where I got a cute vase for the basement, and a winter coat for Cooper (because I couldn't resist--and it's water proof so it has more purpose than just being cute)

~a trip to the pumpkin patch/farms in the area with my MIL, SIL, MG and my niece
~Taking obligatory fun photos around the farm, doing silly things:
she said she made that face because she was the marshmallow over the fire lol
{tractor riding}                                                 {brother and sister silos}
~did 2 corn mazes
~Enjoyed the perfect Fall weather and the pretty farm views
~Went to dinner with the fam and then to my nephew's football game where they won by a landslide
~cheered on Christy from afar while she ran the Chicago marathon and checked on her progress through the BoA app all morning until she finished #myfriendrunsfasterthanyourfriend

~hit up the outlets in the morning--MG went to multiple stores while I spent my whole time in the Loft Outlet store and made out like a bandit
~Went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch some of the Sunday football games. Fried pickles were enjoyed

~Had Sunday dinner with the entire family, minus one BIL (my other SIL came with her kids from NJ); Cooper got lots of loving in the process
~after several hours of eating, catching up and  hanging out, we made it to bed and woke up early to drive back home to VA

That was basically our trip in a nutshell. The weather couldn't have been more perfect our entire trip--the epitome of Fall weather at it's finest, and it was really great to get to spend time with our family and not feel the rush to get back home.
And, just to throw something Pinterest-related in here, I found this quote, which describes how I feel about my Philly family. We may not be related by blood, but we are family in every other sense of the word.

Now it's your turn to link up with Jessi and I and tell us what's hap-"pinning" with you!

  8. It looks like y'all had the perfect three day getaway for fall! That's so exciting that you'll be hosting your first hanksgiving this year! We hosted Christmas last year and it was seriously so much fun, and a little stressful. But nothing beats sharing your home with your family for a special day.

  27. So glad you had a great weekend! We are headed to the pumpkin patch (weather permitting) this weekend! Doesn't Homegoods/ Marshalls have the best dog stuff!? I almost exclusively buy my dogs toys there seeing as they chew through everything immediately. They always have the more expensive brands at a fraction of the price.
