I saw this idea over on Kate's page and couldn't help myself but to borrow her idea!
You all know how influential other bloggers can be...and usually people have some great ideas/products/items to show you...and then you know you just HAVE to have it!
I (happily) blame these bloggers for the following purchases:
{1} Jess gets the blame for these finds:
{1} Jess gets the blame for these finds:
The nude flats were only $16.99, and the cute wedges I got last year from Nordstroms during a sale (can't remember what I paid).
{2} Pinterest Told Me To gets the blame for this beautiful Loft sweater

It is seriously SO SOFT!! As soon as she posted about this, I loved the fun pattern and knew I just had to have it. It took me until she mentioned it a second time (and it being restocked) before I finally bit the bullet, but I did. I love it, and have gotten a bunch of compliments on it each time I wear it.
{3} Every blogger who participated in the Nordstrom sale gets the blame for these earrings:

I will give Jess some extra credit here (again) because I had trouble deciding between the multi-colored and the pink ones. I'm SO glad I went with the multi-colored ones. They seriously go with everything and I get compliments all the time when I wear these!
{4} Amanda gets the blame for this cardigan/sweater from Target
{4} Amanda gets the blame for this cardigan/sweater from Target
It is seriously one of the softest sweater cardigans ever! Her snap about this find (and the discount through the Cartwheel app) had me on a Target run within 24 hours because I knew I had to have it. Both of my sister-in-laws asked me where I got it (and were shocked when I said Target), and one of my coworkers asked me if it was cashmere! I laughed and told her "yeah, it's Target cashmere".
Amanda also gets the blame for the purchase of my Rebecca Minkoff crossbody Avery bag in "aubergine" (I love saying that word) this weekend. It's already sold out, which I'm not surprised about because it was almost 50% off by the time you applied all of the discounts/sales.
{5} Natalie gets the blame for this striped tunic from Old Navy

....because I had been searching for a dress or tunic with thin black and white stripes since before it officially became Fall. Lo and behold, she posted this great, inexpensive find (it was $12!!) and I snapped it up faster than you could say "credit card". Not only is it super comfy, but it's the perfect Fall piece!
{7} Paige gets the blame for my interest in, and eventual purchase of, my starter essential oils kit and diffuser.
I've been loving my diffuser since I got it, and used it throughout my cold the last two weeks of October!
{7} Pamela gets the blame for this Essie nail polish purchase
Even though it's not the exact same color that she posted about, it is pretty darn similar and I found it when I was searching for the color she mentioned. Another great Fall nail color!
Thanks to each and every one of you for the inspiration. I thank you...my credit card does not! :)
What do you blame on other bloggers?
Lot's of great buys!!! I saw a color in the cross body in Olive that pamela posted yesterday and I'm tempted but not sure I'll get it! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteThose wedge booties are so cute! I have so many bloggers to blame for my purchases!

ReplyDeleteSuch a fun post! It's funny how much we are influenced into buying items we see on each others blogs. And girl you know how much I'm still loving those KS earrings <3

ReplyDeleteahh such cute finds!! my bank account is crying just reading! ha! I've always wanted a pair of those KS earrings but always felt they'd look weird on me?! Might have to invest anyway ;)
ReplyDeleteThese posts are my favorite!! I can't even begin to tell you how many things I've bought thanks to blogger recommendations - and they've been spot on every time! Loving that long Old Navy tunic, it's the perfect layering piece!
ReplyDeleteYES!!!! So glad I made this list twice! That Target sweater is seriously still my go to favorite. I have it for the hockey game tonight. I got it in the green as well :-) See that RM purse was meant to be since it's already sold out you know it was an awesome deal. Can't wait till you get it. I laughed about that cashmere comment, it's like don't worry about it, it's from Tarjay ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove that bag and love aubergine... I have a dress that is in aubergine and seriously love it. I need to post more of my clothing finds, well ones that are not for my child lol.
ReplyDeleteWhile reading this post, I actually had to navigate away for a moment to look up that Old Navy tunic because it is so cute, but it was sold out in my size! I also love that Rebecca Minkoff bag...I have been looking for a crossbody bag to replace the old one I have now but I just can't seem to find the right size for me! I will have to check that one out!
ReplyDeleteLove this post! Those wedges from last year are the cutest!! And I'm still bummed I missed out on those Kate spade earrings, ha ha!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I love these posts. Who knew when we started blogs that we'd be sucked in and would buy all of this stuff LOL. Those nude flats are SO cute!
ReplyDeletelove the wedge booties and the KS earrings!
ReplyDeleteOooh I love these types of posts!! I love (and hate) bloggers for telling me about every sale ever. I've turned into so much more of an online shopper over the last year haha!
ReplyDeleteI ordered that cardigan from Target in green and black. I saw it on Kate's blog @ Green Fashionista!
ReplyDeleteYes, I would NOT want to look at my bank account from the last year....between Sheafer and Shay, it's not cool....
ReplyDeleteThose wedges. And that sweater! Is it wrong to start Christmas shopping? For myself?
ReplyDeleteAh this idea is fantastic! I need to remember it for one week!
ReplyDeleteLinds @ Not A Mom
This is awesome! I know, blogging will easily make us all go broke!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! I could easily blame several bloggers for several of my recent purchases haha those Kate Spade earrings!!!!!! 😍
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable idea for a post! I still want those Tom's wedge boots! SO cute!
ReplyDeleteLol what a great idea for a post! Bloggers always feature the best stuff and it hits my wallet HARD!
ReplyDeleteI seriously love your style, all of the outfits are awesome.
ReplyDeleteLol, I love how you found everything from fellow bloggers. Too cute! I'm tucking my cash away for Black Friday, in hopes of scoring some deals, so I'm trying to behave.

I swear I trust bloggers on products more than reviews sometimes. I got that same Target cardigan a few hours after she snapped it...soooo soft!!
ReplyDeleteThe nail color is gorgeous and the crossbody purse! Isn't funny how our shopping is influenced by blogs we read. I'm so happy I won those KS sparkly earrings in a blog giveaway and didn't have to buy them. lol
ReplyDeleteI adore every pair of Kate Spade earrings and want one of each. I've been wearing some cute ivory bows all the time and should probably ask Santa for these confetti ones. I'd also like one of everything you listed - striped tunic, dark nails, nude flats and those booties. Thanks for linking up with us this week :)
ReplyDeleteSo many great things!!! I've been on the hunt for boots and I'm about to start stalking all the blogger friends for good suggestions ;) Also that Target 'cashmere' cardi is awesome, lol! I wish there was a Target around here!! x
ReplyDeleteI swear that we all are a bad influence on each other most of the time, lol. So many great finds and purchases!
ReplyDeleteEssential oils, for the win!!! At least my "to blame" is for your health ;) I feel good about this "blame"!
ReplyDeleteoh my, i need that striped tunic. and that loft sweater!! i swear, everything i bought in the last 2 years is because of a blogger haha. love it.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree, there are so many items that I have recently purchased thanks to seeing them on someone's blog! You snagged some great items! Xo, Stephanie
