Happy Wednesday! We made it through half of the week, which may have been harder than some weeks since we're all coming off of the holiday high and fun!
Since it's Wednesday, that means today's the day you can share what's hap-"pinning" in your life with Jessi and I! Remember, you can link up about anything, it doesn't have to be Pinterest-related!
What's hap-"pinning" with me this week is that MG and I have put ourselves on a self-imposed no-spend month. In addition to spending for the holidays, MG and I also booked a trip to Aruba in May for our friends' wedding....so we are all about saving a little right now. Which means that all of my "shopping" will have to be through eyesight alone, without any actual purchases.
Since the weather is now raging with Winter temps, these cozy things have been on my radar:
I love those booties in the first two pics and think I need to find a pair once our no-spend month is over :)
And, because it's so cold, now I'm really looking forward to our Aruba trip, and I thought I'd tease myself (and you all along with me), with some pretty photos of the views we have to look forward to on that trip!

Don't you feel warmer just looking at those beautiful pictures? Bring on the palm trees, turquoise water, white sand beaches and sunsets!
In the meantime, I'll be putting my mittens, heavy coat, scarf and hat on....:)

I don't think you are alone on a no-spend January! I think a lot of people go on a spending diet after the holidays. My husband and I went to Aruba on our honeymoon and it was fabulous! We loved it!

Aruba! Omg!! I've heard it's absolutely beautiful and have only heard positive things from when some of my co-workers have gone there!! Definitely pack at least one day of clothes w/ a bathing suit in your carry-on and some simple necessities just in case! =) What an awesome trip to look forward to and motivation to not spend anything! I'm on a no-spend month too! Well, I'm trying not to! =) Good luck & thanks for the link-up!

ReplyDeleteI am loving all of the winter jackets, scarves, and wraps that are out there.
ReplyDeleteI swear when we are in a "no spend" month.. THAT is when I find a million things I want! then, when I get Cmas or Bday money and I go shopping.. nothing pops out at me! Since we can link anything, I linked my Bachelor recap... since that is definitely what is "hap-pinning" in my world right now. Thanks for letting me join the fun!

ReplyDeleteAruba sounds amazing - my parents have been a few times and loved it!!
Aruba sounds like a dream right now. And those pictures have given me vacation envy like woah. Mama needs a vacay!!!
