Thursday Confessions {gif style}

I miss doing confessions every week, so I thought I'd do another round of them today. You know, cleanse the soul....something like that anyway :)
I confess that....

....no-spend January kind of went out the window when I bought a new car (but I dont make a payment on it until March so....does it still count?)

....driving to work is slightly less painful doing so in my new car. There are so many fun features that it has, and I learn something new every day!
......my friend texted me while I was driving the other day, so I had my car read it to me--because it does that--and the robot voice definitely said "peen" (now don't ask why that was in a text message--that's a story for another day lol) I was cracking up in my car :)

.....this Zika virus 'outbreak' gives me the heeby-jeebies
...during Grease Live I totally may have belted out all of the songs from the original movie. There may have been some dance moves too. Especially during the closing number #shoobopshewallawalla
{via}
.....MG may have been entertained by my Broadway-ish skills--we'll call them that anyway...(he was laughing at least!)

.....MG's group of friends got a superbowl/housewarming invite from a friend a couple weeks ago and some people said they would go. Then a few days ago another friend in the group--who was also invited to the original party--decided to have a superbowl party, too, inviting everyone to his. And the friends who said yes to the first party changed their responses to "no" to the original friend. And I think that's SUPER rude! Where did these people learn their manners from?? #nowhere
{via}
....the same day that I worked out, I had potato chips and onion dip at night for a snack #sorryimnotsorry
{via}
....we're 3 months away from our Aruba vacay and I can't wait!!!

What are some of your confessions this week? Don't make me feel like I'm the only one....:)

  1. How cool that you car reads texts to you! Can you reply through voice activation too? I had no idea that cars can do that now!

  2. These are always so great! I hate when people do that with plans...it is really super rude and I feel like puts other people in super awkward situations, too! I definitely worked out on Sunday, then proceeded to consume 3 cake batter blondies...pretty sure that offset anything I accomplished at the gym. Ooops!

  3. My new car also reads texts - I think it's SO cool. My husband's new truck does the same, and he got to try his out the other day for the first time and he called me SO excited - I was cracking up laughing at him. Ha ha I do not LIKE rude people at all - that is just sad that someone has to be that way and do that when they and the others have already committed to the other hostess. :( Have a great day! :)

  4. I'm doing a no-spend February.
    I think that "no-spend" means "no bags of stuff from Target". A car doesn't count.
    Our truck reads texts too....we've had some inappropriate things read while there were passengers in the car lol.

  5. That is so rude about the party! I do nut understand people without manners. Not having to make a payment on your car until March definitely means you didn't break no spend January :)

  6. Dang girl I need your new car!!! That's so rude about the super bowl party! My dad is having a big party, I'm so pumped! Go panthers!!!

  7. I'm confessing that its been a month since I got my new car and I still lose it in parking lots because its a different color than my old car so I forgot! I read once that your body continues to metabolize quickly hours after working out, so don't feel bad about the chips and dip!!

  8. Yay for Aruba! I confess that I eat FAR too many Girl Scout cookies than I ever should at night and when my doctor asks me how my diet is going, I'm like, "Oh it's GREAT!"

  11. i am super scared about the virus too, i'm not sure if we should cancel our vacation.. i'm leaning towards no... but i don't know. your car definitely doesn't count towards spending! it doesn't count.
    thank you so much for linking up with Gretch and I, really appreciate it!

  12. Are you kidding me with those two parties and the responses? Aholes. I'm guessing none of them read here? LOL

  13. Driving in a new car is always the best! My friend's car reads his texts too so I often text him a bunch of random words just to get his car to read it out loud haha! And how rude about the Super Bowl party!?! That is so not cool! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes

  18. Ugh yes that Zika virus is so scary! So exciting for you, we got a new car too for Christmas, it's so nice! It totally doesn't count if your first payment isn't until March! You're good! Haha xo

  20. Okay, I still have to seen Grease Live! Danggit for not having cable. I MUST watch this online soon. Maybe today?!

  21. Adam couldn't believe that I could sing along to all of the Grease songs (well the ones from the movie), he thought I was crazy. I then learned that he had NEVER seen the original. We have plans this weekend!

  23. Woohoo for the new car smell, and all those awesome features!! I was totally singing along to Grease too, love that movie!! Also how rude about the party ditchers, just tacky. Yay for Aruba coming up soon too!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I confess that I might have eaten Hershey's Kisses quickly, alone in the kitchen, while Austin sat in the other room watching a show because I didn't want him to see me and ask for one. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Oh my. I feel terrible for the friend who got canceled on. Ouch. Not to mention having a friend, who knows you're having a party, deciding to have their own party at the same time and inviting the same people! Don't even get me started on that Zika virus. I live in Florida and they have cases in the next county over from me. Granted, those people contracted it during international travel, but what if the mosquitoes here bite them and then start passing it around to the next people they bite! ::shudder::

  26. I confess that my BF made a cake last night & I cut myself a piece right out of the middle while he wasn't looking. I also confess that without even seeing me he yelled from the other room that I better not be cutting my slice out of the middle. Drat. Haha.

  27. The new car totally doesn't count if you haven't put any money down on it yet!!! So you're still going strong ;) I'm a sucker for chips + dip... my confession is that I'm pretty much only eat taco chips and guac for lunch. I just can't stop, ha!

  28. I'm sorry that no spend January didn't work out. However, that is a bomb idea! That would be super hard. Maybe one day I will do it... Hilarious about your car reading the text.

    ReplyDelete
  29. All the hands free features in the new cars are amazing right? The Zika virus is so creepy and it's spreading way too quickly. Craziness!

  30. I love the last gif the most, mostly because I can use it to show my excitement for Hawaii in April! Aruba sounds SO fun!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Aruba sounds UH-MAY-ZING right now. Seriously... I just want to be warm! Haha I love it. No spend January still sounds like no-spend to me... ? I didn't watch Grease live.. but I hope to catch it again sometime... I have a really hard time dedicating large amounts of time to live TV.. .netflix is another story.. but i just don't like my schedule being determined by a tv schedule. Even when I like the show/movie. So strange. I agree Zika.. yikes! XO -Alexandra

  36. Aruba?! How exciting. I saw a glimpse of the Grease show. They picked a good cast. I'm the same way when I work out. I justify my craving for a cookie by saying I already worked if off lol.
