Thoughts on Thursday

Who watched the Bachelor Women Tell All this week? What did you think?

Why did that one girl bring her chicken? I'm guessing it's because no one would remember her without the chicken--because I certainly didn't. I still don't know her name--We'll call her Chicken Girl. It was pretty funny when the chicken flew the coop (get it? Sorry, I couldn't resist) and attacked Lace

I thought Jubilee redeemed herself in explaining why she acted so weird sometimes on the show. I'm glad she copped to what she said the Amber and....the other girl who I can't remember the name of.

I don't think this show is right for everyone...especially people who have a hard time opening up. But sometimes you need to go out of your comfort zone to learn something about yourself and maybe that's what she tried to do.

Caila: I felt like she looked different on the WTA than during the season. Not bad, really, but I didn't think she looked as good as she did on the show. Maybe that's what heartbreak looks like on her.
I'll still take her luscious locks though!

Olivia. Oh Olivia. I think she tried to get off as Miss Innocent and then realized that the best thing to do was to recognize how she acted and apologize. I was glad that she did that, especially to Amanda and single moms.

I'm pretty sure I won't miss her scary mouth tho. Or her cankles and weird toes that we never got to see? (I feel some kind of let down from this since it was talked about SO much.)

And then next week's episode. Who is he gonna choose? I thought it was interesting that he admitted to JoJo that he told Lauren that he loved her, too.
Whatever happens, it's sure to be dramatic!

Before I go, I want to give my girl Biana a happy birthday shout out! You are a beautiful friend--someone I'm so thankful that blogging brought into my life! I hope you have a great weekend celebrating OUR birthdays haha. Love you lots girl!

And another birthday shout out to my SIL Annie who, as we speak (or, you read) is on her way to the Dominican with her awesome hubby to celebrate her 40th! Wishing we could be there with you, but just know that we all love you so so much! I'm so happy to call you my sister!

  3. I think my favorite part was after going to one of the screening parties, Chris asked Ben about did he think he would be here a year and a half or so ago and Ben was like, I was on Tinder a year and a half ago. Ahh what is this world coming to. :)

  4. I have never watched The Bachelor until parts of this season!! It's definitely not for me...I would be so jealous and just could never handle the competition like this and unfortunately I wouldn't have a chicken to bring! =P

  6. oh the WTA was so funny! i kinda felt bad for olivia - i know i'm crazy ha. but seriously at the end of the day i think you gotta have a strong personality to fit in on that show and be able to handle whatever gets thrown at you. i still think it's crazy ben told both of them he loves them. oy!

  8. I actually stopped watching The Bachelor earlier this season, I couldn't get into it...I liked Olivia from the get go, but boy did she change. Such a pretty girl, too.

  9. Agreed about Olivia! I'm just not a fan in the least. I think Ben is going to pick Lauren, but I agree: I think there's going to be some draaaaaaaaa-ma behind that choice! The way the commercials are making it look is like the whole Jason Mesnick/Molly/Melissa debacle.

  11. Yes, Caila looks totally different and I can't figure out why... was it her hair being parted different? it was more flat across her forehead.. her face looked rounder or something.... and that chicken. Seriously. And the girl holding her had a white dress on. I mean, that's some guts... I've had chickens before. they poop a lot.

  12. I was a little disappointed in Monday's WTA, but still always so good! I was confused by the Amber/Jubilee thing. So what if Jubliee was the only full black on the show? It's a fact and I don't understand why Amber and that other girl were so offended by it?? And I agree, Caila did look different...I think her face was more round. Still as gorgeous as ever though!! Only 4 more days until the finale!! (P.S. I refuse to read any comments online--blog or otherwise--because I don't want to ruin the surprise! So my apologies if I repeated what anyone else already said!)

  13. I agree that Caila looked different, but I'm not sure why. Fun fact, one of the other bloggers who I follow is from Caila's hometown and she said that Caila was doing some spot filming there last week. Next Bachelorette, maybe??

  14. Sometimes I wish I watched the Bachelor just to snark on the people. That girl brought a chicken? Seriously? LOL

  15. Ahh I don't watch the Bachelor but you just gave me the scoop! The chicken situation seems rather weird. lol

  16. I wouldn't have remembered the chicken girl either without the chicken lol! And ugh.. Olivia! I think she was waiting to get the invite for Bachelor in Paradise, and didn't get one on the spot :)

  17. My girlfriends at lunch were all discussing how different Caila looked but we couldn't put our finger on it. The Bachelor/Bachelorette is my guilty pleasure. I love every second of it

  18. I actually thought the WTA was a little boring! Everyone pretty much made nice and apologized which is good... but made for a dull night, haha. I thought the same thing about Caila, she didn't look like her normal self! Less makeup or flatter hair... I'm not sure but something was off!

  19. I really wish I could get into the bachelor, it just doesn't appeal to me.

  20. Haha! I was actually a little disappointed in the WTA.. it wasn't very dramatic. I'm pretty sure Amber and yellow dress were there just to stir up trouble - you could see it in their faces. Did the chicken girl even get past the first episode? I also noticed the girl with the big red flower on her hair wasn't there. And Olivia... I feel a little bad but not really.. if she didn't bring up her toes and cankles, none of us would've known and made fun of her. Plus what grown woman doesn't know how she's acting? I cannot wait for the finale!!!!!

  21. So, I have actually loved Jubilee from the beginning. She has an anxiety disorder and so do I, so I totally get how she can seem weird and I found it hilarious. That said, I would never go on national television.

I wish they would have a cut off for which girl's come on the WTA, like, the final 15 or something. Nobody remembers the one's from earlier and they never have anything to say anyway.

I think they set it up really nicely for Caila to be bachelorette. She wasn't my favorite, but she has a really really good personality for the bachelorette, and now she has a tale of heartbreak they can use for promotion.

  22. The tell all is always one of my favorite episodes. I didn't like Olivia (well I liked her the first night!) but she found a way into my heart this week with the tears, teen mom apologies and revealing how she was bullied because I understand that! I think Jubilee was definitely so sincere too and Amber and Jami (I think) like wh are they - stop trying to get air time!

Hoping all is okay with you lady, thinking about you this week!

  23. Great recap. A lot of my thoughts were the same as yours. Even the way Caila looked. Who do you think will be the next Bachelorette? As cute as Caila is, I think Amanda or JoJo would be more interesting to watch.
