Happy Friday, friends! Another week in the books! This weekend's weather is looking to be cold and dreary which is a total bummer--but that just means more time to snuggle up inside right?
Enough about the weather (which has been nuts!) and let's get to some favorites from the week!
Enough about the weather (which has been nuts!) and let's get to some favorites from the week!
I can't remember who posted about it last week (and I'm sorry not to give the credit out), but someone last week posted about the podcast Straight up with Stassi. Being a Vanderpump fan, I was all over it, and I've really enjoyed listening to it when I log my notes at work, or on my drives. If you like Vanderpump Rules, check it out--it's a fun find!
{2} Skype/Facetime
What would we do without technology? Skype is definitely a favorite this week since it's allowed me to see my husband who is overseas for work, every day. Seeing his face and being able to talk as if he's here makes having him gone suck just a little bit less. Thank goodness for all of these gadgets and gizmos that make staying in touch so much easier!
{3}Mira Bottles
I've mentioned them before, but I had to re-invest in one because I left mine at my friends' place last weekend and didn't have time to go get it this week, so I just got another one. But now, MIRA bottles have expanded their designs from just gray, red, black and blue to these two new patterns. I debated it for a bit and got the leaf pattern, but the wood one is super cool too! For $19 instead of $35+ for the Swell bottles (and they are identical!) it's a good deal!
{4} Photo
I took this photo of Cooper on Monday morning. He was sleeping in MG's spot on the bed and when I went to go get him, he gave me those sad puppy eyes and the look that said "Do we really have to get up, Mom?" I love how tiny and cute and cuddly he looks here. Total fave from the week!
{5} Funnies
When your coworker asks how you're doing, and then goes on to share with you about how she didn't pee for 6 days in a row when she was out of work
When your husband's away on business and someone rings the doorbell
When you have the perfect comeback line to a rude comment:
When I squeeze Cooper in a giant hug and then he runs away from me
That's it for me today--hope your Fridays are quick and your weekend is fantastic!

ReplyDeleteI love FaceTime!!! It's so great to keep people connected (and skype, too). My niece loves FaceTime because she can talk to me and her cousin down in Texas! She treats us like we are actually there and can play with her, lol. And the funnies are perfect for today...and SO true lol!! Happy Friday, Jenn!!
ReplyDeleteGirl, I am the same way about the doorbell. I seriously just don't even move until they walk away - no way am I opening up that door alone! Cooper does look so cute and cuddly - makes me want a dog. :) Be hard to leave that sweet face!

ReplyDeleteMy Hubby travels overseas for work quite a bit to so we use Skpye quite a bit also. Problem is I take way to many picture on my phone so Skype is usually one of the apps I delete to make room for more pictures then re-install.
ReplyDeleteYour gifs always crack me up!!!! I love the "husband's away and the doorbell rings" one. Me. Every.single.time.
ReplyDeleteYay that was me who recommended Stassi's podcast! Which episodes have you listened to? I'm hooked! Hope you have a fab weekend and happy Friday!

Those GIFs are everything. The doorbell ringing one is my life!!
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about getting another Swell (remember to bring it to and from work everyday is not working haha), but for the price, I totally want to try a Mira! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteMeg, Borrowed Heaven
aww Cooper is so cute! Glad he can keep you company while MG is away, and at least you have SKype! Hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHahah "let me love you" is totally how I feel about my stupid/precious cat. I run and hide when the doorbell rings and I live alone lol. Love that puppy pic! Happy weekend :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha "when your husbands away and someone rings the door"...that's totally me when mine is gone! Have a great weekend! xo, Kristina
ReplyDeleteWHOA! Only $19 for that bottle? That's a steal! I also love Stassi, so I gotta check out that podcast! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteCracking up at that conversation with your coworkers. How awkward is that? LOL Skype was a life-saver when my husband and I did long distance for several months. It's nice to see their face.
ReplyDeleteUmmm.. thank you coworker for that gripping piece of info!! What the???? I would have reacted like that too! Every week you just nail it with the GIFS!! I hope you have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm a S'well fan!
ReplyDeleteI like facetime, already making plans to facetime with my BFF's baby who will be born in May. LOL
Happy Friday!
Cooper is so darn adorable!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a Mira bottle and I love it! Cooper is so cute! My pup is the same way, takes her own side of the bed and runs away when I want to hug! I always say "Let em love you!" to her (like she can hear or something!) Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteCooper is the cutest little baby! Our little Maui always gets mad at me because I like to hold her like a little baby and she HATES IT. Haha. And amen to hiding behind the couch when someone rings your doorbell when the hubs is out of town. OMG, I hate being at home alone. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHow does one not pee for 6 days?! You'd need major dialysis after that - yipe! Yay for facetime and technology, hope the rest of his trip goes by quick <3
ReplyDeleteGreen Fashionista
Facetime/Skype seriously make life so much better!! :) I love being able to chat with my sister and niece who live 10 hours away! Cooper is so cute, such a good pic!!
ReplyDeleteCooper is too cute in that picture! He probably misses your husband! Hopefully he returns home soon! Have a wonderful weekend! xo
ReplyDeleteI do the same thing when the doorbell rings and I'm home alone. I'm definitely going to have to check out those MIRA bottles because I've been eyeing the Swell ones for a while now. Have a great weekend! -xx Leah || Chasing Texas
ReplyDeleteOo I need to check out that MIRA bottle, I couldn't justify the price of the Swell bottles so this price point is much better! I hate being home alone and the doorbell rings, I usually don't answer it haha. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteLove that picture of Cooper! And now I need to go listen to Stassi's podcast - I just finished the last episode of VP Rules earlier this morning and am so bummed it's done for another year!
ReplyDeleteAww! Dart does the exact same thing and sleeps in Chris's spot when he's out of town! I'm like you and seriously don't know what I'd do without technology to help me stay in contact with people! I can basically talk through text messages to one of my best friends living in Europe! I hope the weather warms up for you and you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute pup! Girl, Skype is the best. It's amazing that we can chat with people all over the world and distance doesn't have to COMPLETELY separate us!! I have to ask, is there anything special about those bottles? Do they keep drinks colder longer? I'm curious! :) I love the patterns you posted!
ReplyDelete6 days?? Is that even possible?!? Ha! And I think I need a Mira bottle...I just can't stomach the price of the Swell ones! Happy Friday! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat the what with the pee comment? So strange, lol! I have still not gotten on board with the Swell water bottles, but the ones you found seem like a much better deal - and I like the cool patterns:)
ReplyDeleteyour funnies crack me up! i think i make that (that's from full house right) face about 45 times a day.
ReplyDeleteMy husband's overseas right now, too. Skype is a lifesaver. Wait, she didn't pee for 6 days? I think I would go to a doctor at that point O.o.
ReplyDeleteYay for new Mira bottle designs! And, technology is a great thing, isn't it? Glad you've been able to see and talk to the hubs while he's away.
ReplyDeleteLove your gifs. So funny. I can def related to the last one. Cooper looks so cute. My sister listens to Stassi's podcast and loves it. I'll have to check it out!
