I could probably do one lip color for the rest of my life since I haven't mastered the art of lipstick yet and usually go with a typical neutral pink or lip gloss. I feel so middle school saying that lol.
2. Live without makeup or without nail polish?
Without nail polish for sure. Make up makes the world go round...or at least keeps it from being a little less scary :)
Hmm, I think light nails. If I could wear Essie's Limo Scene all year round I think it would look ok, and classy. Plus it goes with everything. But I do love my dark purples and reds...decisions decisions...
4. Give up makeup brushes or mascara?
I guess make up brushes, because as Nikki pointed out, you can use a blender or sponge (which I also havent gotten or used yet...)
5. Leave the house with an obvious foundation line or overdone blush?
I think with overdone blush. When people can tell you have foundation on, that's not good. The whole point of make up is to look better naturally right? Although overdone blush would be a dead giveaway on that too. Looking like an overdone porcelain doll isn't attractive but I guess the lesser of two evils. I've written a lot about this one question and overanalyzed it way too much now I think
6. Have no eyebrows or sharpie drawn ones?
Is neither a choice? Who would want NO eyebrows? But then I think of sharpie eyebrows and this comes to mind:

So, I guess no eyebrows and then get them drawn in professionally? If that's even a thing? Let's hope it never comes to that.
7. Go out with messy hair/nice makeup or nice hair/no makeup?
I think messy hair and nice make up--messy hair can be a thing. But if you have pretty hair and your face looks tired and a mess, no one focuses on your pretty hair. Plus, if the hair is messy, you can put it up in a pony tail and then you're chic! Voila!

8. Have a bad haircut or bad hair color?
I've had a bad haircut before, but never a bad color. I think I'd rather have a bad color because it usually washes out relatively quickly (I mean, unless your hair is orange or something), but a bad haircut can be a long process to try and fix.
9. Be able to buy only drugstore makeup or only high end makeup?
Well obviously if money was no object then high end make up, but I've found some really good drug store knock offs that are good money savers!
10. Spend $1,000 on clothes or makeup?
Easy for me. Definitely clothes. I'm not a huge make up guru and I've made it through life with the little make up skills that I have. I'd definitely rather splurge on clothes and then just have someone else do my make up haha

This is soooo fun!! I would have to have the mascara and I always color my own hair but the one time I had it professionally colored, she turned it too ash so it was gray!!! In my 30's think not....so I went back to coloring it on my own, lol!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fun post idea - definitely going to use it myself! I definitely would take messy hair and good make up, too!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun tag-- I think I'd definitely go with one lip color & a light nail polish too-- even though it would be hard in the winter/fall.
ReplyDeleteI might be stealing this from you!! I would do light nail polish as well and I mean $1000 to shop is going towards clothes too! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteSo fun! I completely agree with you on almost every single one of these! The dog with the Sharpie eyebrows made me laugh. Is it weird that it kinda looks like he's supposed to have eyebrows?! LOL! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes
ReplyDeleteGreat tag! In my case I can´t live without my nails done, I always say yes to a good nail polish shade! :)

ha i love this. and i love the eyebrow debate! i mean they are so important! i'm def a dark nails all day every day of the year kinda girl i can't deny it :) this is a fun quiz for sure :)

Some of these are tough questions! But definitely fun ones to answer :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big nail polish fan, I only keep my toes painted.
ReplyDeleteThis was so cute! I never wear nail polish on my hands, and the eyebrows... totally would rather have drawn on then none! Seriously, photoshop our your eyebrows and see what you look like, its interesting how much they define your face.
ReplyDeleteSo fun! I would definitely rather spend the money on clothes, no doubt.
ReplyDeleteAgree with you all the way down the list!! I love some of the videos of "dogs with eyebrows" -- so silly! And that's totally what drawn on eyebrows remind me of!! Make today work, Rachel -CubicleCouture
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun post! I'd definitely spend the $1k on clothes too, and lol at that poor pup with the drawn in eyebrows. That's what I always think of too :)

I love this post idea and I am going to do it next week. Thanks for the inspiration!!! The dog with eyebrows is too cute!
ReplyDeleteFun! I don't know that I could ever give up mascara, it is my jam. The eyebrows thing is so hard to decide!
ReplyDeleteI am pretty much right with you on almost all of these! $1000 for clothes -- heck yes!!!
ReplyDeleteYES! I'm stealing this post too! I've been in a blogging funk the last 2 weeks. I agree with lots of your answers though, especially the "no eyebrows one. Both options are terrible! lol
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with most of your answers! Messy hair can definitely be a thing but I haven't mastered the look without it actually looking like a hot mess. Not cute!
ReplyDeleteXo, Evelina @ Fortunate House
I love this post! I might do something super similar, if that's alright with you of course!

What a fun post! And some of the answers to these questions are way too easy. Anything that mentions wearing NO makeup at all, ummm, I'll take any other option besides that one please.
ReplyDeleteWould you rather wear no makeup and a cute outfit or wear makeup with no clothes? Um, I'll take the no clothes option, please! Lol.
This was a fun post concept! That photo of the dog with eyebrows is hilarious - I hope I never have to make that decision!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post! Having the choice between makeup or nail polish - I would def choose makeup too, because let's face it, we don't need a scarier world, huh?! (Good point, btw!)
ReplyDeleteI could do either one eyeshadow or lip color forever. LOL
ReplyDeleteI would choose nail polish, always!
Fun post! I would make similar choices to you..clothes over makeup, any day!
ReplyDeleteWe're pretty much the same person here! So fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post! $1,000 on clothes - YES!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I'd definitely live without eye shadow too - I never feel done until a lip color is on.
ReplyDeleteOh and 100% the $1,000 on clothes too, ha!
LOL at the sharpie eyebrow dog, that is such a hard question because I wouldn't want either of them!! I think we had similar answers to these and yes the beauty blender/sponge has been a game changer for me, but I was intimidated at first. It really is fairly easy after you watch some Youtube videos :)!
ReplyDeleteSome of these are tricky to answer! I agree with you in spending and focusing more on buying clothing than makeup...but having no eyebrows? I guess I'd chose to look like that pup. HA!
ReplyDeleteYay! Glad you did this! Gotta love that dog with the eyebrows haha. Also, I'm with you on spending $1,000 on clothes! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun post! I agree with every single one of your answers!
