Oh my word, I really don't remember the last time I did a Thursday post which means that my blogger game has been slacking big time lately!
Slacker, no more!! Here are my thoughts and confessions this week:
~I unfriended a girl on social media who I've known since elementary school because she only posts selfies, or quotes. I'm all for a good quote, and I like a selfie here and there, but when you're posting three selfies within 10 minutes and they all look the same, I just click "unfollow"

~I hate that apples start turning brown within like 10 minutes of cutting them.
~I have a coworker in a new position at work which requires being organized and efficient. And this person is neither of those things. This has already caused me to get reamed out by a parent for something that wasn't my fault. Grrrrr.

~I have a second school again this year and it happens to be the school that my crazy parent's kid went to. But it also happens to be 3 minutes from my house. Trade offs.
~Give me all the cheese! Grilled cheese, mac and cheese, just plain cheese cubes. I'll take it and eat them all. Please and thank you! :)

~As nice as it was not being at work on Monday, coming back on Tuesday with the week already in full swing just kinda drained me. I didn't feel like I had a day off, I just felt like I had less time to get things done, and now I have to figure out all of my make up therapy time in the coming weeks. Makes that one day not seem worth it (but at least I was already one day closer to the weekend when I got to work!)
~I hate when IT people talk to you like you're an idiot. And then in the end, it was a problem on their side, but I've just been made to feel like an imbecile for the entire time we've been talking.

~The end of the month can not come soon enough because the end of the month means I will finally get a paycheck after not having one since the end of June. #poorteacherprobs
~I caught one of my Kindergarten girls wiping her nose on the bottom of her dress yesterday. I promptly offered her a tissue.

I cannot believe you haven't had a paycheck since June!!! I would die haha! My district allows us to divide up our money between 12 months instead of the 9 months we work....so much better that way! I don't know if I could budget that way. Happy Thursday!

Some people you just need to unfollow! Sometimes long weekends can leave you even more stressed - hopefully Friday will get here quickly!

Some people are so weird! 10 selfies an hour? Yeah, no thanks! And I'm LOL'ing at the girl wiping her nose on her dress. Kids are hilarious. (But yes, thanks for offering her a tissue!)

ReplyDeleteI have quite the nose pickers this year. Tissues are handed out every. Single. Day. I'm ready to take drastic measures. Especially this time of year when the germs are out in full force. Had to laugh at that one.

ReplyDeleteI unfollowed someone on Facebook who posted literally hundreds of selfies that all looked the same. Unorganized coworkers drive me crazy. I love to organize (at work, ehhh at home, not as much), so when people come in like a tornado, it is upsetting.

ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I understand the no pay check from June til now! My district will let us split it up from 10 months to 12 months but only after we've worked for a couple years so my first few years in the district involved super strict budgeting! Yes to all the cheese... right now feta and smoked gouda are my go to's!

ReplyDeleteOh yes, the Facebook unfriend. I've had to unfriend a couple of old classmates and one of them was because the girl was always throwing a pity party. I felt kind of bad but I didn't want to read that stuff all day.

It seems like everyone on my follow lists are starting to sell things, like plexus and whatnot, and all I see are posts on them about that and that's what really annoys me! I don't think I can unlike them though because they are family and they are watching every move!

I don't blame you for unfriending her. Someone in my friends posts those "accidental" cleavage photos and shares relationship drama details. Another thing that annoys me is people posting multiple pictures of kids in the same spot/place. Not to sound mean, but I get it - you are sitting on the couch and holding the baby. We don't need to see eleven pictures of it (I counted).
ReplyDeleteUgh facebook is such a hit or miss with some people. I have definitely had to unfollow people who just overpost, I don't get why they think that's ok?! Omg yes to all the cheese!! Girl I can't wait until the end of the month either because it means finally a paycheck for me since not working until June too!
