Thursday Randoms

I'm brain-dumping a bunch of random thoughts and confessions today so here goes! (Plus, please enjoy the 90s throwback gifs I've included as a little walk down memory lane! :)

~I almost made the light out of my complex the other morning, and then this little Asian guy decided to cross the street at the last minute, when his crossing sign was off, causing me to slam on my brakes, miss the light and wait through the 3 minute cycle again. Said Asian man got the glare and curse from me that morning (and again when I saw him yesterday morning too) #damnyoumisterasianman
~I don't get why people work out in jeans or khakis. Honestly the thought of it makes me feel gross.  #getsomesweats
~I don't like the fact that it's already dark out when I go to work. And it's just going to get WAY worse next week after Daylight Saving Time (aka Dark Depression) kicks in this weekend. Waking up to dark, and coming home to dark....no thank you. I'm already depressed about it. #justsaynotoDST
~I've eaten my weight in sugar this week with cupcakes and candy all around. Mama needs to get herself in check! #checkyoself
~I'm craving this turkey sandwich from a deli nearby and I know you're not supposed to eat deli meat when you're pregnant but it's like the rule where you can't have it, so you obsess over it #cravings
~the heat in my office at work still isn't on. It's freaking November--what gives??? #lettherebeheat
{via} inappropriate, but funny :)
~when I see people do live videos on Facebook and they're driving, I want to scream at them!! Do you know how dangerous that is??? And if you got into an accident, would that live video have really been worth it?? No. No it wouldn't.
Watch this video if you're a culprit of this. You don't want to be responsible for someone else's death or injury.

And on that PSA soapbox note, I'm out! :) Have a happy Friday-eve!

  1. I just have terrible road rage with anyone, so I'm sure I would have been super pissed at the Asian dude, too! Khakis and jeans just don't belong in the same sentence as "work out". Just....no. Hope they turn on the heat soon for you! UGH FRIDAY CAN'T GET HERE SOON ENOUGH!!! :)

  2. Oh goodness, I would have been SO pissed about missing that light, too. Some people are just very inconsiderate! I once saw a lady wearing a floppy hat to work out in. I don't know which one is worse - the jeans or a floppy hat!

  3. I never understand people working out in jeans either. That cannot be comfortable! And I'm about to take my extra Halloween candy to work and give it away haha!

  4. Ugh I hate how dark it is when I go to work and now starting next week it'll be dark not long after I get out of work. Wahhh! And I'm the same way about people who work out in jeans. WTF?! That cannot be comfy!

  5. I have terrible road rage & it's not gotten any better even though we bike around these parts, haha. Now I just holler from my bike and ring the bell obnoxiously. Also, I now want to spaghetti because of that GIF.

Also, that Facebook Live thing while driving! WTF are people thinking?? I feel the same way about people who Snapchat while driving too.

  6. I feel you on that road rage girl.....when people break during yellow lights I want to freaking scream. The lingering leftover halloween candy in every one of my offices is such a problem!

  7. Omg that road rage is so real especially when I'm at a light and I could have made it if it wasn't for some jerk!! The only good coming out of DST is waking up what feels like an hour later, but yes I'm not ready for the darkness that comes with it, no thanks! Love all the 90's throwback gifs!

  14. YESSS to the #justsaynotoDST...I always get so down and out leaving work and it already being dark! We just got our first puppy a few weeks ago and she loves going straight outside as soon as we get home and I am so not looking forward to it being dark that early!! DST is THE worst!I could never workout in anything other than shorts/sweatpants/yoga pants...basically anything other than jeans. The thought of sweating in jeans makes me want to take a shower ASAP.

  16. There are so many forbidden foods! And I want ALLLLL of them! Stay strong-- turkey is supposedly the WORST of the deli meats to eat. So it's like a double definitely no no! XOXO, R

  20. I love all the throwback gifs. I agree that distracted drivers are the worst and I also don't get women in full faces of makeup at the gym. Jess at Just Jess

  21. I hate when people cross the street like that. I glare too and say mean things in my head. I hate when I see people texting and driving. It is illegal here and makes my blood boil! There is no heat on at my work too. It sucks. I am soooo cold.
