Movin' on uuup!

Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you all had fun-filled, relaxing weekends. Most of my weekend was spent outside either by the pool, out on patios for dinner and drinks, or out running errands. The weather here this weekend was absolutely fabulous with very little humidity. I like no humidity (and so does my hair)!

{via} Ok, it's not this big or this view, but you get the idea!
Anyway, back to the title of this post! On Friday, at our staff picnic, I found out that next year I'm having my office moved. At first, I said *groan groan groan* because that meant that, once again, I would have to pack up all of my work ish and that's just no bueno. But then I found out that I'm getting my friend's office (who is moving to another position), which is MUCH bigger than my little itty bitty closet  office. And.....are you ready for this.....it has a window!!! Now, to those of you in the regular work world, this might not be a big deal. However, working in the school system as a related service means you get shoved pretty much wherever there is room (and sometimes even if there isn't room, you get put there anyway). Well, I have had an office that has a dinky tiny window in the door (when the power went out, it was pitch black in my cave/office), and then I moved up to having a window into the hallway (but still not facing outside), and this past year I have a window into the hallway again. But THIS time, I will have hallway window (with blinds) AND a teeeeny tiny window facing the outside world.

This girl will be able to see the weather without having to leave her office! I tell you, it's the little things in life. I had joked since I started working that maybe, just maybe, one day I would have an office with a window, and now, my 5th year of working, I will have reached that! Yay!!!

Now that I'm done babbling about my little window victory, I will let you all return you your regularly scheduled Mondays!
Hope it's a great start to the week!! :)
