How is it Friday already?? (Don't worry, I'm not complaining!)
This work week has flown by....but I guess that's what happens when a hurricane gives you some time off. I must say, I'm enjoying this short week AND next week is teacher work days so that's another 2 days without kiddos and time to get paperwork etc done. Woohoo!
I liked doing the Friday Letters in the past couple of weeks, so I thought I'd do it again. Make sure to check out the bottom of this post, though, because I have a warm fuzzy story for you!
Dear Sandy Victims, My heart aches for you guys and my prayers are with you. Hoping that good things start happening for you all after such a devastating event. Dear 4th Grader who Sneezed on Me, as soon as you sneezed in my direction I immediately thought "Please don't get me sick"...and now I have a runny/stuffy nose. Grrrr. Dear iPhone5, thanks for finally getting shipped out yesterday. If you make it to me today or tomorrow instead of Monday, though, I will be ecstatic! Dear Voting Day, please get here soon so that I can stop being tortured with all of these political ads! Dear Supervisors, why would you schedule a night class on voting day? I hope you realize your mistake and cancel the class. Please? Dear Bestie Genna, I loved our talk last night. I miss having you close by and I miss your face! Happy early birthday to one of the best friends a girl could ask for!
And, onto the warm fuzzy story. Are ya ready?

And on that heart-happy note, I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Peace out, girlscouts (and boyscouts, too...don't wanna leave you out!) :)
Awwww what a super super cute story. People amaze me sometimes, I wish more did.
ReplyDeleteHooray almost iphone5 day! :)
Hi Jenn! I just found your blog through the link-up and I'm so glad I did! I love your philosophy on going the distance in life, I feel like I'm at the point in my life now! So excited to read more :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd that story melted my heart!!!
I feel the exact same way about the election...but I'm also really excited to vote! I grew up in MA which always goes blue. It's fun to vote in a swing state and feel like your vote is actually making a difference!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great story! What a great and creative way to make those kids happy!
ReplyDeletethis is a cute post. but where's my letter? i'm feeling left out. i'll come back next friday for the hopes you mention me. :)
ReplyDeleteps. i'm NERVOUS for voting day. omg. it's going to give me anxiety.
So cute, that story! Yes, please pray for the victims of the hurricane. I know too many people who were affected. We're on Day 4 of no power and they say it could be another 7-10 days before we get it back. The devastation is unreal.
ReplyDeleteI love that story!!! So sweet!:)
ReplyDeleteThe superhero costumes?? GENIUS!!
ReplyDeleteI totally know what you mean about kids sneezing around you. I was a nanny for so long and the minute I saw a runny nose.... I was pounding OJ!! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that hospital story! Made my heart melt too!! :) Glad I found you via Friday Letters!
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend and hope your stuffy nose clears up!
