Hello hello!

Sorry I was MIA yesterday--I had a work training and a gazillion progress reports to get through so I slacked a little on my blogging. 

Forgive me?

I know that today is election day, and the buzz in the air is one of excitement. (And, if you work at a school like I do, your emotions are mixed a little with annoyance because your work parking lot is now taken over by every voter and their mother....but that's ok!)

I'm MEGA annoyed because my supervisors are making us have class tonight from 4:30-7:30 at a building that is 40 minutes away from my school (without traffic). Polls close at 7pm in VA. I'm actually super pissed, because I don't think it's fair to limit people on a day that should be reserved for voting. Especially when we're required to work our normal work hours. Grrr.

Lucky for me (kind of), I'm sick and have been up since 4am with coughing fits, so this chick is calling her supervisor today and letting her know I'm not coming.

Anyway, I'm done with my rant, and on to some exciting news!

My iPhone5 arrived yesterday!!!!

I may have been in the midst of a workout at home yesterday when it arrived, and never resumed the rest of my workout after I got it. Oops again! :)

Let me tell you, the graphics on this phone are INSANE! I felt like I was looking at a super high def computer screen when I was playing one of the games I downloaded. MG was even commenting about how sick it looks.

I'm still trying to figure everything out about my new toy, but I'm loving it so far.

Someone needs a haircut, but he's still super cute! :)

The one thing I'm missing from my Android phone is my Swype text ability. I'm gonna need to figure out how to get that on my iPhone cuz I miss it *sad face*

All in all, after waiting 3+ weeks for my phone to get here, I'm a happy camper!

Anyone else have the iPhone5? Any tips and tricks to share with my newbie self?
