Blog Every Day in May {Day 13}

Day 13, Monday: Issue a public apology. This can be as funny or as serious or as creative as you want it to be.

I'm sorry, world. "For what?" you may be asking. Welp, here goes....

I'm sorry for the times that I leave my house without brushing my hair (luckily this is usually only to walk my dog around my complex).  I suppose the same could be said for without a bra, too (and that is certainly ONLY when walking Cooper).

I'm sorry for the times I curse yell at people who tick me off when I'm driving.

I'm sorry for spending too much time on Pinterest. Well, ok I'm only a little bit sorry about this one. Not a full blown sorry.

I'm sorry for not calling my parents as often as I should. When the week is boring and nothing new has happened, I just don't think to call (cuz frankly, a call saying "nothing's new" sounds kinda lame). But, I know they like hearing from me and I should do it more often.

I'm sorry that I didn't go out as much as I should have in college. Being in a 6 year relationship just kinda didn't lend itself to going to tons of college parties.

I'm sorry I didn't join a sorority. Knowing how hard it is to meet good girl friends after college, I wish I had that network of solid girl friends to rely on, talk to, and go visit at this point in my life.

I'm sorry I didn't pick up Cooper's poop a few times. I'll admit it--especially when it's raining, sometimes I don't pick up Cooper's poop. It's gross, and I try and go back later to get it when it's not pouring. But, in that moment, my first thought is to get it over with and back to a dry space.
I should dog shame myself for this one.

I'm sorry for being antsy. In some situations more than others.

I'm sorry for not cleaning up my room as a kid. The floor was my "organization system" and it was awful. Messy rooms drive me bonkers now. Not sure how I ever survived in the mess I called my room when I grew up. Or how my parents didn't throw me out. #OnlyChildPerk

I'm sorry for buying a sewing machine and never using it. That stupid thing is still in it's cover, sitting on a shelf in our storage closet. Bad bad bad girl!

I'm sorry for not doing more stuff after work (like taking classes), mainly because I just want to go to the gym (kinda, not really) and relax after work (definitely more relaxing). But, there's only so much of my life that I have to live (especially before kids) so I need to take advantage while I can.

I'm sorry for the times that I've been ungrateful (and hopefully those times are few and far between)

Do you forgive me, world? :)

  2. I'm bad about brushing my hair. I can generally be found drving to work brusing my hair. So I guess I would have to apologize to the drivers around me.

  3. I am sooo glad that I am not the only one feeling bad about not phoning the parents as often as i should. And for going home and doing nothing instead of some class or bingo night or some other social activity.
