Weekend Update

I had SUCH a fun weekend!

I'm kinda bummed it's over.

Friday night MG and I went on a little date night after work. We had dinner at Rustico (super yum!) where we sat next to an extremely annoying couple (it took me a bit to tune them out). And afterwards we went to see Iron Man 3. It was good, but I didn't love it. We were poking holes in the entire story line afterwards haha. Frankly, after Avengers, Im not sure anything will be nearly as cool. 

Saturday MG's cousin came down from Philly to visit and got here early afternoon, so we went and had lunch at Lost Dog Cafe (they have TONS of yummy sandwiches and they donate some of their money to dog shelters), and then went to Old Town by the water to enjoy the day.

Unfortunately, the weather was off and on all day, and the clouds came out, so we went back to the condo and played a card game until it was time to get ready to go out in Georgetown.

Figured it was a good night to wear one of the many new dresses I've bought recently :)

We had a mega delicious dinner at J. Paul's (I had mahi mahi tacos and I'm still thinking about them, they were soooo good), and during dinner a guy actually approached the table and said that MG's cousin was beautiful and eventually asked for her phone number. I gave the guy a lot of credit because MG was at the table, and he came up anyway. He did it really respectfully, too. After that fun little event, we went out to a bar nearby.

The bartender we met was also a teacher in my county and he was SUPER cool. 

We had such a fun night!

Our couple friends were also out in Georgetown so they came to meet up with us, too:

Overall, it was one of those nights that was just so fun, that you talk about it the whole next day.

MG's cousin left on Sunday late morning, and we spent the rest of the day being lazy, running errands, and enjoying the pretty day outside.
