Random Things That I Love

We all love the typical things...friends, family....but today I wanted to talk about the totally random, out of nowhere things that I love:

1- Steel Drums
{via}
The sound is amazing, and every time I hear them, I feel like I'm on a tropical island somewhere.
The best steel drum band I heard was in Jamaica--they were INCREDIBLE...the music was awesome but they did all kinds of crazy dance moves, too. Love me some steel drums!

There's nothing better than guacamole. The restaurant near us makes some KILLER guac. When my bestie Genna was in town a while ago, we ate a big old bowl of it with chips...and that was our meal. And we were both TOTALLY ok with it :)
Guac is the bee's knees!

3-Puppy wiggles
{via}
Walking in the door after a long day at work to a pup who is SO excited to see you that he just about wiggles himself off of the couch....it's one of the best things ever.

4-Sliding into a pool on a super hot day
{via} Ok...not quiiiiite like this...but you get the idea :)
There's nothing more refreshing on a hot day than getting into a cool pool.

5-Hearing a song that was your 'jam' from back in the day on the radio in the car
{via}
It's like someone gifted you a little treat on your car ride. And, if you're like me, you end up car-dancing for the song's entirety, no matter who is looking :)

6-The smell of a burning candle, especially apple cinnamon scents
Apple cinnamon might be one of my favorite smells of all time. Burning a candle that smells like this is soooo yummy. It also makes me hungry for apple pie, but that's neither here nor there.

7-Cotton Candy
{via} Ok...not in reverse...lol
Not something that I have often...in fact, I can't tell you the last time that I had cotton candy. But, I dare you to have some cotton candy and NOT feel like a kid again :)

8-The smell of  new magazines
Some magazines or catalogs just have a smell to them, and I love it. Its that fresh/crisp smell. Mmm, so random, but I love it.

9-Swatting a fly that's been flying around, driving you mad
{via}
I don't think I need to explain this one....it's just gratifying, especially after that little guy flew around making you lose your marbles.

10-Curling up and reading inside, when it's raining outside
{via}
Self explanatory, right? It's just so relaxing and peaceful. That much easier to get lost in a good book.

What are some random things that YOU love?

  7. Cotton candy is ridiculously delicious, and also, that gif made me die laughing. And reading while it's raining?? YES. It has been really rainy in Vegas this week (so weird!), and it's making it really difficult to concentrate on work and school, since literally all I want to do is curl up in my chair by the window and read until I can't anymore.
