Today's topic for Blogtober is your best and worst vacations
I really can't think of what my worst vacation was. I think most of mine have been pretty good...if there were hiccups they were minor, nothing earth shattering like getting stuck on a cruise with no electricity or running water, so I guess I'll just talk about two of my best vacations.
Luckily, there are LOTS to choose from, but my top two would be:
My Honeymoon to Antigua.
How could you not love a place that had sunsets like that?? |
The other one is our trip to Riviera Maya with MG and his sisters and brothers-in-law.
We were there for a long weekend, to celebrate our brother-in-law Joe's 40th birthday. It was the only time that we've all gotten to hang out together, without any kids around, and no sporting events or things to take them to. It was just a chance for all of us to hang out, and relax, and bond. The resort was amazing and we had SO MUCH fun (not to mention the $750 in spa credits each couple got!). We still all talk about the trip, and have made plans to try and do a trip for each of our 40th birthdays from this point on. Luckily we have 3 left, so that's 3 more trips :)
I always worry about lost luggage and not having any clothes! These sound like amazing holidays :)

Oh that's a neat idea-a trip for everyone's 40th!
ReplyDeleteI agree, its hard to think of "bad" vacations. I would love to go to Antigua and I love the way you describe your honeymoon as being in your own little bubble. I think that's how honeymoons should be! Great post
ReplyDeleteoh man how dreamy and fun! We almost went there for our honeymoon as well but decided on Barbados bc of the time of year! Happy Tuesday! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI think there is just something special about a honeymoon vay-cay? I also selected ours for my best vacation.

Wooohooo $750.00 in spa credits! That would put a trip on top for me, that's for sure! We never had a Honeymoon but are taking a trip to Hawaii in the very near future for my husbands work. We are going to pretend it is our Honeymoon. Only 18+ years later. It's never too late right?
ReplyDeleteThose spa credits... amazing!!
ReplyDeleteHoneymoons vacations are hard to beat! and it looks very lovely there! I've always wanted to do a big family trip. A 40th Birthday trip would be a great excuse!
ReplyDeleteI would have loved those spa credits!!! :) Great post!
ReplyDeleteRiviera Maya is so nice - we honeymooned there! :) Where was this resort?! I definitely need some spa credits in my life!!
