How To: Cut Small Tomatoes in Seconds

Have you had a recipe that calls for cherry or grape tomatoes and it tells you to half them?
It can be a pain in the butt, and time consuming to cut each and every individual small tomato for a recipe.
BUT I have an easy and quick way to cut your tomatoes, and your cutting time, in half! (get it, get it?) :)

Take a bunch of your small tomatoes and place them on a small/medium sized plate.
Place another plate of the same size, on top of the cherry tomatoes.
With your hand on top of the top plate, pressing down with slight pressure (not too much--you don't want to squish them!), take a long knife and slice through the space between the two plates, where the tomatoes are.
Once your knife clears the other side of the plate, all of your small tomatoes are halved!
Voila!
So much easier than doing each of those individually! I cut one container of grape tomatoes in seconds.
Happy cutting!
