I haven't started a novel yet this month, but I've been reading Savor every day which has been a nice way for me to take a few moments, reflect, and in some cases, pray.

The Bachelor! Lace is a looney--I originally thought she was going to be the resident Biatch for the season, but I realizes this wee that it's Olivia, who's mega annoying--both the bragging and her over the top facial expressions. Ben is adorable.

SOUPS! I mentioned last week that it's all I've been craving so I made chili over the weekend, and then my broccoli cheddar soup on Monday. I'm in soup heaven!

that we had one more random warm day on Sunday in the middle of Winter. Considering last year we were already dealing with snow, I was happy to see 63. Although, I'd take a snow day or too....

that we have a three-day weekend ahead, followed by a teacher work day (which, for me, means an all-day training). On Monday it's going to be VERY nice, not to have to wake up to an alarm, and get in some extra Cooper snuggles too :)

excited because MG and I are going to go out and test drive a new car this weekend! I've been toying with the idea of getting a new car for a while now, but putting it off because I don't NEED one. Well, Nissan is having 0% financing for 60 months, so we figured we'd go check out the car I've had my eye on and see what kind of deals we can make since my trade-in should be pretty decent. Doesn't mean Ill get one this weekend, but I'm excited to go look and test drive!

Ugh, this weather is awful. I could eat soup every day in winter I think!! YES, Olivia is sooo crazy, and I just feel bad for Lace!! She's really annoying, tho. I love Caila, even though she seems a little too immature for me, but I still love her (also because she's from Ohio originally, like 40 minutes from me haha!). And Ben really is adorable--I am anxious for the rest of this season! I've been wearing boots all week because of the cold, haha. And I am SO jealous of your blate tonight!! Have a blast :)

Yay for test driving! I actually took advantage of a Nissan sale a few weeks ago and traded in my front wheel drive for an all wheel drive to battle the snow in, haha. I have the Rogue and I absolutely love it! Do you like the second season of serial? My bf is listening to it, and he doesn't think its as good as the first season!

ReplyDeleteI want to punch Olivia in her stupid big mouth. She is super annoying and there's no way she will win, although she will probably get right up to the end since that always happens. A lot of the girls on this season seem really young and annoying, so wishing Ben the best of luck with this group. In other news, love your guest room inspo. So pretty! And how exciting to possibly get a new car!!!:)
ReplyDeleteI didn't watch this week bc the hubs and I were caught up in a Netflix series and just HAD to finish it! I still just want to know who names their kid Lace? And when all the women in the house are under the age of 27-28.....you know there are bound to be some crazies haha!! How exciting on the new car! I said that I was going to buy myself a new car for my 30th, but we're waiting on having a bambino so that I can get a "mommy suv" ;) Can't wait to hear about the test drive!
ReplyDeleteI love three day weekends for teachers.. my husband will usually come and take me to lunch, so we get a date without the kids. I know he's excited about the day off too! Have fun looking at cars!!! fingers crossed you get to take one home with you! Oh man.. Olivia... she LIKED MY INSTAGRAM picture yesterday.. the one linking to my recap that made fun of her.. and I was like OH MY GOD SHE'S GOING TO HUNT ME DOWN!!! because I made fun of her mouth and compared her to a dinosaur.. it was a moment of panick!

ReplyDeleteThe Bachelor has been SO good already! Lace is totally crazy, even if she won't admit it and Olivia (who I thought was gonna be one of my favorites) is annoying already. She'll probably win.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if you are looking to get a Rogue, but I got a 2015 Rogue in September and I LOVE IT! It drives great, the gas mileage is amazing, and it feels sporty, even though it's an SUV. Good luck with car shopping!
Hey I live in Arlington! So fun! I have a 3 day weekend followed by a teacher work day too, so hopefully I actually learn something ;) I just pulled my gray cable knit Uggs back out because it hasn't seemed cold enough for them but they are so comfy!!!
