Happy Monday, friends! Grab you coffee and let's gab about the weekend!
My weekend highlights included:
~Attending a work conference in Baltimore with some coworker/friends--it was an okay conference, but we got to meet the speaker who is pretty well known in the speech-realm
~After a full day of learning, we made it back to VA without too much traffic to some gorgeous weather!
~MG and I decided to go grab something to eat along the water since the temps were warm and the sun was shining--FINALLY!
~Had a great view, a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a crab cake sandwich with my love for the perfect Friday evening date night
~Got home and had a low key night in watching Brooklyn with MG--really really liked the movie and highly recommend it!
~Dropped Coop off early Saturday morning for a grooming appointment and then did a run to Costco where we ended up buying more stuff than we went in for #justlikeTarget
~Picked Coop up after only an hour and a half when the guy told me it would take 4-5 hours
~Had the window guy come and measure the rest of the windows in the house so they can be ordered and we can finally get on with this install (before June? Lets hope!)
~MG and I went to meet up with a friend of ours at Top Golf since the weather was super nice outside again. I watched and drank a beer while they played!
~Storms rolled through...again...bringing with it some cooler temps
~Went to go visit our friends with the twins, who are now 3 months old. We brought over dinner, and got to spend time snuggling the babies and making them laugh (little man isn't pictured since he was having a rough time with reflux so little miss gets the spotlight here):
~Made it home and I passed out on the couch from all of the early mornings I'd had in a row
~Sunday morning errands with temps in the 50's and lots of wind, but no rain, so I'll take it!
~Met up with a friend from grad school at Yardhouse for lunch which she treated me to since I'd helped her get a job with the county that I work in
~had a mid-afternoon nap on the couch then went for a 4 mile walk around the lake by our house
~Mexican food for dinner (no food pics were taken but it was amazing deliciousness with lots of leftovers!)
~Hung some art work above our bed that I'd gotten at HomeGoods last weekend
~Relaxed for the rest of the night to gear up for the week ahead
What were some of your highlights this weekend?

ReplyDeleteI read last year that Cincinnati might be getting a Top Golf and I got REALLY excited, even though I'm totally not a golfer.
