Friday Happies

We made it through another week, and Friday is finally here! As you read this, I'll likely be drinking a really sugary drink, and hoping that my body processes it however it's supposed to so I can pass my glucose test!

In other fun news, yesterday morning I logged into blogger and went to publish my comments, and instead hit "delete comments" from my already published comments instead, so if you saw your comments on my post on Wednesday disappear, that's why. I really wish Blogger had an "undo" option, but they don't! Boo hiss!!

Ok, now on to some happy things from the week!

~Bridesmaid Proposal~
This week, among some other packages arriving at my house, I had one from my bestie and when I opened it, I had a super cute box with a mega sweet note, and a proposal to help her tie the knot! It was soooo cute I couldn't NOT share it!
Of course, I said YES!

~Valentine's Day card~
MG and I always exchange cards for holidays--he knows this is the part that means the most to me anyway, and this year whether it be the pregnancy hormones, or his extra sweetness (or a combo of the two), I totally teared up reading the message he wrote for me in the card. I love that man, and I am so glad that he's my partner in this journey. I just know he's going to be the best daddy, too which makes me love him even more!

~Free Yoga~
A really good friend of mine is has been studying to be a yoga instructor for the past several months (I had NO idea it was such an intense training program!) and her final exam is this weekend, so she asked if I could come over and let her do her sequence on me and another friend. Our friend couldn't go, so I requisitioned MG who happily obliged (see why I love him!) and we went there Wednesday night and had a terrific session! So not only did I get to help our a friend, but I got a great yoga sesh, too! Baby girl was super still during all of it, and once it was over, she was happily kicking about--I'd say she liked it too! :) #namastay

~Three Day Weekend~
This weekend is a 3-day weekend because of president's day...AND the temps are supposed to be in the mid 60's the ENTIRE weekend! Bring on the warmth and the Spring-like weather (you can keep the pollen and allergies, though). We have plans with two other couple friends, and also with my mom, so it should be a nice weekend overall.

~Funnies: because why not laugh?~

How I imagine Cooper rules over the house when we aren't there

How it feels when the classroom teacher tells me that the one really tough and/or annoying kid is absent

When you try and play catch with a preschooler

When someone starts sharing gossip during lunch

And this, because it just made me laugh:

Hope that leaves you on a high note to tackle Friday!

  8. Yay for 3 day weekends. For me, the glucose test wasn't bad. It just made me feel a little lightheaded because I'm not used to having so much sugar. Hope it goes well! And I love that bridesmaids box.

  16. i've accidentally done that with deleting all comments on all posts on my blog before. Major fail and my heart sunk into a major hole! Such a sweet bridesmaid proposal. Nothing like receiving some goodies in the mail and then being asked to be in her wedding party. Is the wedding after the baby's arrival? Enjoy your 3 day weekend. I'm jealous!! xoxo
