Reality TV catch-up

If you've been around this blog for a bit, or are my close personal friend (or MG), you know of my love for reality tv. Bravo is a favorite channel of mine, and would usually be my choice of channel to leave on if I didn't live with a boy. Specifically one who hates reality tv. Drat!

Lots has gone on in the reality tv world lately, so let's dish, shall we?

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: the season is over and I have some thoughts. Good riddance to Adrian. I used to like her and I think fame got to her head. Kyle was also one of my previous faves and I think she's had her head filled with stardom too. Brandi, I go back and forth on. She makes me laugh and I like that she's honest. Could she have a little more tact? Yes. Yolanda, I like for the most part. But she needs to get a new dress and stop rocking that white one she's always wearing. Kim needs to keep holding herself together, preferably with something other than alcohol or binder clips:

Real Housewives of OC: this show just came back this week, and I can not wait for the rest of the season. Especially after the whole "on this season on the Real Housewives of OC" stream of clips. I need to say this tho, I dunno if Vicki looks better or worse than before, but whatever she had done has messed up the way she talks. Her mouth looks like an old lady's.
I still like Heather. Alexis bores me, and I see a rocky road ahead for Tamera and Eddie. And the new chick that we'll meet later on in the season? Holy mouth full of teeth, batman! Not impressed.

Teen Mom 2:
I had a whole thing written here, but then I felt like a jerk-face for writing my thoughts on how each of these girls is kind of (or a lot) screwed up. They are young, yes, but sometimes I watch the show and KNOW that I was smarter than a lot of their nonsense when I was their age.

My main question here is: Why are all of these girls RUSHING into getting married? Just shows the difference between being 19-21 and mid-late 20's, I suppose?

On another, non-reality tv note, MG and I finished Downton Abbey, season 3, and OH EM GEE....I'm sad. And I'm even more sad that now I have to wait until sometime close to January of next year for the next season. So not okay. Wah. Pouty party of 1 over here!

  2. I'm so sad about Downton too! My roommate got me hooked on it this season. I haven't watched the first 2 seasons yet but I really want to.

  3. I told you Downton Abbey would break your heart!!! Terribly sad:(

I too am a total Bravo tv lover - particularly when it comes to the Housewives shows (the OC and Beverly Hills are the only ones I like though). SO glad Adrian is gone off BH - she was just a mess. A lying, manipulative mess. Yuck. And this season of the OC will def be interesting. Love Heather. Curious about the new girl - hahaha, to the teeth comment. And, Vicki? Well, let's just say, even my HUSBAND noticed the mouth thing. And for him to notice - well, that's not good. They must have screwed up. It's like her mouth turns down now or something. Why, oh WHY do these women feel the need to cut their faces up all the time and stuff them with fillers and injectables? I can understand a little Botox here and there, but when you start inserting stuff in your face, it's bound to just look strange!!!

  5. I agree about RHOBH. I used to be team kyle all the way, but she's changed. I'm definitely team Brandi/Lisa.

  7. Stopping by from the linkup to say hi! When I'm home alone, Bravo is the only channel on. Rerun? Don't care. Watching again. Analyzing EVERYTHING. LOL
