My Weekend

Another weekend has come and gone, but this one was one where we stayed in town, didn't have any weddings, communions, etc to go to, and the weather was nice!

Friday night MG and I met up with our friends who will be moving into our condo in a few weeks. We had dinner together and then went to see Neighbors.

It was really funny--we enjoyed it and found ourselves laughing at way more than what they showed in the previews. Not to mention....

I may have let out a sigh when I saw him shirtless on screen. And MG may have then elbowed me haha.

There were definitely some over the top scenes, but overall we all enjoyed it and laughed a ton (and wiped away drool...)

Saturday morning MG and I got on the cleaning and packing. I cleared out my closet and donated an overflowing garbage bag worth of clothes, some books and some wall art. MG packed up our bookcases and some of our sunroom.

It feels so good to purge and clean things out!

After our cleaning and Good Will run, we stopped by our new house to pick up the mail from the renters who are there and ended up staying and hanging out with them for an hour. They're our age, with two adorable daughters, and are SUCH a sweet family. Hopefully we'll continue to hang out with them after they move out of the house.

That night, MG and I went into DC to meet up with two couples who we hang out with on a pretty regular basis. One of the couples is moving up to PA in a few weeks, so we had to pack in a fun-filled night before that. We had dinner at Ceiba in DC and then went to Old Ebbitt afterwards to have some drinks, talk and hang out. I love these guys--it's always a fun time with them, so I'm really bummed that our friends are moving. We've made plans for get togethers in the near future tho :)

Sunday MG and I ran some errands and he went to play golf. Cooper got in a good walk and some nap time on the couch, and I got my Thai food fix for dinner.

All in all, it was a super fun weekend--just what the doctor ordered after a stressful week!
