Weekend Recap

This weekend was yet another crazy busy one, but also really really fun.
Friday started off a little blah since I got news from my assistant principal that he wanted me to move my office into the building....in 2 weeks (a month before the end of school while I still need to see kids and have parent meetings). Not to mention this office is HALF the size of my current office which makes it almost impossible to move and still hold onto the 8 grade levels worth of materials that I need since I see PS-6th grade kids. UGH.  No bueno. So a lot of my Friday at work was spent packing up my office and trying to get ready for this move.

Friday, after traffic died down some, MG and I made our way up to PA for his cousin's wedding that was on Saturday. Saturday morning we went to his oldest niece's lacrosse game and then hit the outlets for a little bit where I got a super cute summer dress from Banana (which I'm wearing today haha). Then we got ready for the wedding and made our way there with his parents.
Unfortunately, about an hour before the wedding, the skies opened up and POURED, so the outdoor wedding had to be moved under a tent. It was still really nice tho and the bride looked beautiful!

After the ceremony was over, we took advantage of the gorgeous backdrop (which was rain-free) to take some photos:

My father-in-law and his daughters :)

All the ladies, minus my one sister-in-law

After a fun cocktail hour with family, it was time to head into the reception which was absolutely beautiful. MG and I were sat at the same table as his two sisters and their husbands which just meant a night of fun
MG's family definitely knows how to have fun...so we took to the dance floor and had a fabulous time! There were so many pictures taken that I can't even include them all.

And then the photo booth opened up....
These are just two of the gems that occurred once that happened, haha:

After a SUPER fun night, we made our way back home.
Sunday morning MG's  sister, her husband and her kids came over, so we all had brunch together (that MG made) for Mother's Day, before we headed on the road to get home.

The weather was beautiful yesterday so once we got home, and got unpacked, we took Cooper for a walk up to the dog park and let him play around a bit...and then brought him back home for a much-needed bath!

Sunday night we spent recovering from the weekend and preparing for another work week.
I'm sitting in my office, looking at all of the "stuff" in here that is somehow going to get packed in the next week or so and moved....wonderful.

Happy Monday!
