Happy Friday, friends! I am SO glad that it's Friday--this first week of summer school with kids has been a bit of a doozy. Full of scratch marks, head butts, trips, a face slap and a hair pull. And that was just in two days. (And just to clarify, that was done to me, not to the kids). As my friend Bree said the other day, I'm definitely "earning my summer school money"...to which I told her "to apply towards my doctor bills" lol

So, as you can tell, I'm super happy it's Friday!

{1}-Friend Time

One of my besties, Trish, hit me up yesterday as I was leaving summer school and asked if I was home because she was in the area. She swung by and we went to lunch and grabbed Mexican food. It was great to have some girl time--and we were both good and didn't order margaritas despite both being tempted to (it  was  only noon tho).

{2} Massage

I have a massage scheduled for this afternoon and I can't wait. Little did I know two weeks ago when I booked it that I would need it so desperately after the first week of summer school, but I'm looking forward to it beyond words!

{3} Hangin' with Mr. Cooper

No, I don't mean the 90s tv show (but who remembers that one?? A TGIF staple!) I've had more time to spend with Cooper during the days recently. We snuggle, go for walks...there are few things better than puppy love, and I love the extra time I've been getting with my handsome little guy lately

{4} Party Party!

MG and I are having a party this weekend at the house where we'll be grilling. Now that most of our big projects are done around the house, it'll be fun to have a bunch of friends over to see all the changes, eat good food, and delicious drinks. We already made a big run to Costco the other night for supplies, and now the buffet area in our kitchen is packed with stuff. I'm excited to make different appetizers and entertain!
