What's Hap-"Pinning" Wednesday {#39}

Happy Wednesday, loves! Sorry for my absence yesterday. This week started out pretty crazy and I didn't have time to write a post for yesterday so I took the day off, but I'm back today for What's Hap-"Pinning" Wednesday with my bloggy soul mate Jessi today to share with you what's going on currently....
Currently I'm.....
Reading ...
To be honest, I haven't read either of the books that I wrote about the last time I posted my Currently about this. The only book I've read recently was a travel book for Istanbul to try and plan out the two days that we're there. Hopefully I get back on the reading train soon!

Listening to...
rain drops on the windows. #wheresNoahandtheark
Watching ...
Still watching Bravo (always). Below Deck Mediterranean returned last night and has me all kinds of excited for our cruise through the Med! Plus, I just love that show, and it's one of the few Bravo shows that MG actually enjoys too (that and Million Dollar Listing).

I also can't believe that this Sunday is the last episode of The Good Wife. If you haven't seen this show, you definitely should (and would have a TON to watch since each season is like 21 episodes). I'll be sad to see the show go.

Cooking...
I made Parmesan Herb Crusted Salmon on Monday night and it was not only SUPER easy, but it was incredibly delicious. I think MG's exact words were "when you make salmon again, make this recipe because it's incredible!" So...I guess it was a win! :) Recipe coming at you soon!
Looking forward to ...
Taking off work on Friday to attend our friend's wedding in New York. It's not Aruba, but we'll be with a bunch of friends (including a few who also cancelled on the Aruba wedding), and it'll be a fun time for sure.

Wishing...
it was July and we could start all of our fun summer travel plans already!

Enjoying ...
the time off that we took from fertility stuff. It's been nice not to have to have my life revolve around blood draws, ultrasounds and the like for a couple of months. But I think we'll be back on that band wagon later this month. It's been a nice, and much needed break from it all though.

Loving....
that the sunless tanner from Rodan+Fields that I won in Jess's giveaway arrived on Monday! My pale skin can't wait for me to use it! #byebyeCasper

Eating....
Tonight we're making those baked queso tacos for dinner as an early Cinco De Mayo meal and I'm super excited. Those things are decadent!
Wanting ...
more pairs of ear jackets. The one pair that I have I adore. I want more!!!

Wearing ...
anything and everything that protects from the rain. We've had clouds and rain just about every day for the last 5 days so far (with it still in the forecast for the next coming days as well). Even on Monday when we got some sunshine in the afternoon, it was followed by insane thunderstorms and hail. Cooper was none too thrilled with the thunder.

Thankful...
to know so many awesome, caring people.

Now it's your turn to share what's hap-"pinning" with you lately! Remember, it doesn't have to be Pinterest-related!

  15. Ok I'm adding everything I need for those tacos to my grocery list RIGHT NOW. I keep forgetting about them. And there is nothing worse to me than having wet feet when it rains. It rains pretty often here in Houston and you would think I would own good pair of rain boots, but I don't.

I'm wishing for July too! :)

  18. Noah's ark is right! It's APRIL showers bring MAY flowers. Mother earth didn't get the memo! Those tacos look delicious, so I'm pretty sure I'm foregoing taco salad tomorrow and opting for those instead!! Make today work, Rachel -CubicleCouture

  20. I think the April showers have made it's way into May somehow. So excited to hear all about your summer travels, you guys have some amazing places to look forward to...as much as I want you to have your travels, I'm hoping July takes it's time just because it's gonna be too real being wedding month! I need to watch Below Deck, looks like a fun show!

  21. Oh, those tacos are still on my list to try! I am dying for summer travel, too! We're 27 days away from summer break, but it's not like I'm counting or anything. ;) xo, Champagne&Suburbs

  34. The snaps of your dinner tonight had me so hungry - thank goodness we're doing similar tomorrow! I feel you on the books - I have a huge stack that I'd planned on reading while we were away and just around the house and just can't get to them! Really looking forward to the new Below Deck once I can get caught up on the tons of shows in the DVR!

  35. I still need to make those baked queso tacos. Today would have been the perfect day for it, but I failed on my weekly planning. I have never seen The Good Wife. I might have to check it out if it is on Netflix.

  36. It was cold and rainy here yesterday too. BOOOOOO!
I love Below Deck Med. Only 1 ep in and I think it will be good. How does Chef Ben get all the ladies? I don't find him attractive.
