2015 Year in Review: {Jan, Feb, March}

I loved doing a recap of my year last year--it was fun to look back at all of the fun and exciting things that had happened over the last 12 months, so I thought I'd do it again this year! Plus, it's a fun way for new readers to get some background info, too!

{January}
~We rang in the New Year with a big group of friends

~Had a bunch of snow days and cold weather days off from work--woohoo!

~Started doing Piyo and loved it!

~Got Cooper on seizure meds--which was the best decision we ever made for that little guy. Knock on wood, we haven't seen a seizure since!
~Recapped our honeymoon....only about 8 months late...lol
~MG returned from being away in China for 3 weeks...and with gifts!

~We painted more trim, doors and walls in the house, and updated the door hardware from brass to bronze on every door in the house (you never realize how many doors you have until you have to paint and change the hardware on all of them)
~Started watching The Good Wife at our friend Meredith's suggestion and immediately were hooked for months

~Made copy cat Bang Bang shrimp which was a huge hit in our house

{February}
~I shared MG's and my experience going through trying for a baby, and the perspective I got from a friend's situation

~Got my new Michael Kors watch which is still a favorite of mine and worn frequently:

~Had a blate with Christy over sangria--the first of many this year

~Celebrated Valentine's Day with MG and his family in PA

~Did a Valentine's date night at Paint Nite with MG--he's such a good sport trying new things with me!
~More snow days...

~Got a haircut and a cute pair of glasses from Firmoo

{March}
~Got a new rug for the dining room:

~Made the best tasting egg salad recipe ever!

~My best friend came up for my birthday weekend celebrations:
~Got my MK crossbody for a birthday gift. Still loving and using that one all the time, too!
~Finally got to try out Yard House with the hubs
~Shared some of my favorite wine accessories

~Planned and packed for our anniversary trip to Punta Cana

Lots happened in the first three months of the year! The next three months were packed with lots of fun, too as we had our anniversary trip and the end of the school year!
Hope you liked the trip back down memory lane for this year. Next up: April, May and June!

  7. Y'all have had a very just year to say the least. My husband went to Japan for a week this past year and it was so hard to not talk to him, I can't imagine him being gone for three weeks! And painting classes are so much fun! I'm glad that you were able to convince MG to do it with you!
