Book Review: The Husband's Secret

This weekend I finished the book The Husband's Secret. My almost sister-in-law recommended it to me, and I'm glad that she did.

It was only $5.99 on Amazon for my Kindle so I figured "why not?"

Here's the Amazon summary:
Imagine that your husband wrote you a letter, to be opened after his death. Imagine, too, that the letter contains his deepest, darkest secret—something with the potential to destroy not just the life you built together, but the lives of others as well. Imagine, then, that you stumble across that letter while your husband is still very much alive. . . .
Cecilia Fitzpatrick has achieved it all—she’s an incredibly successful businesswoman, a pillar of her small community, and a devoted wife and mother. Her life is as orderly and spotless as her home. But that letter is about to change everything, and not just for her: Rachel and Tess barely know Cecilia—or each other—but they too are about to feel the earth-shattering repercussions of her husband’s secret.

I liked that the book's chapters switched between 3 main characters in the book, that told the story from different vantage points (or different stories that intertwined).
I particularly liked the ending of the book which lent itself to some things to ponder (but the ending of the book wasn't left open, don't worry).

I would definitely recommend the book. It was not a hard read at all...I kept picking up my Kindle, wanting to find out what was going to happen next and how everything would unfold and then get solved.

This book is actually by the author of the last book that I reviewed and enjoyed. I have a feeling I'll be checking out more books by this author since I enjoy her writing style and stories.
